A new interview with BMF artist Bleu Davinci revealed that Gucci Mane wasn’t brought into the collective due to his criminal past. Moreover, Cam Capone News recently interviewed Davinci, who’s Black Mafia Family’s sole label artist. Furthermore, Capone asked him how they met the Atlanta rapper in the first place. In his explanation, Davinci went over the difference between their enterprise and the multiple lanes that Gucci strode. While his story was candid and didn’t necessarily antagonize the “Lemonade” star, many brought snitch allegations forth in the comments.

“Gucci’s a street n***a, he just be outside all the time and s**t, you feel me?” he began. “Gucci was like a part-time jackboy, part-time dope dealer, part-time rapper, Gucci was a slash man. The trial of Young Thug has taken many different twists and turns, even before jury selection began. It looks like there will be a few months until the trial begins. However, Thugger has the odds stacked against him. The District Attorney’s made it clear that they’re after Young Thug in this case. At the same time, it seems that more and more co-defendants are copping deals, while some are starting to single out Young Thug as the leader of YSL.

Many of those who copped plea deals stated that they didn’t bend or fold but that isn’t entirely true. Interrogation room footage of YSL Woody emerged over the weekend where he detailed alleged crimes committed by YSL. He pointed the finger at Thug, brought up 21 Savage, and even stated that he could get people to corroborate his confession via FaceTime. However, even with Gunna, his Alford Plea, which his attorney reiterated wouldn’t be used against any of the defendants, has left his reputation in shambles.

Young Scooter Says He Talked To Young Thug

Though many of Young Thug’s immediate associates appear to be folding under pressure, many of the rapper’s friends in the music industry are standing tall by him. Young Scooter, for example, recently shared a song snippet following a conversation with Young Thug. Scooter suggested that the PUNK rapper is aware that many of his co-defendants copped plea deals and have been “dropping dimes.” In fact, he suggested that roughly half of those who were arrested with Thug are beginning to fold.

“I just talked to Spider, I can’t call him Slime/ Half the slimes told, yeah, they droppin’ dimes/ Had to drop some for the hood ‘cause the streets cryin’/ Shit I’m already rich so I can’t die tryin’,” he raps on the record. Thug nor his attorneys have responded to any of the allegations surrounding YSL Woody or any of the other individuals who are reportedly cooperating. Karl Malone is a very controversial figure in the NBA. Although he mostly just minds his business and doesn’t hang around the league anymore, the NBA saw fit to invite him to All-Star Weekend. Of course, this is because the game was in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Malone built a name for himself. However, there is a big issue here. When Malone was in college, he impregnated a 13-year-old. This is one of those things that has been swept under the rug for years. Although, there is a large subset of NBA fans who know all about this.

With all of this being out in the open, fans were simply stunned that the league would invite Malone in the first place. The NBA has not made a single comment about Malone’s past, and it is highly unlike that they will. Needless to say, this is a bit of a PR disaster for the league. Above, you can see one of the wilder alleged stories about Malone. This story reportedly took place in 2004 and involved Vanessa Bryant. At the time, Malone was on the Lakers and he came to the Staples Center in a cowboy hat. Subsequently, Bryant found the outfit amusing so she asked what he was hunting for. Knowing her Mexican heritage, Malone then replied, “I’m hunting for little Mexican girls.” This comment immediately made Bryant feel uncomfortable, although nothing really came of it. As we explained, this is an alleged story, although it is still very concerning, nonetheless.

Fans in Utah did not seem to care about the allegations surrounding Malone. In the Twitter clip down below, you can see that Malone was welcomed back with open arms. Moreover, he got to sit next to his old teammate John Stockton, who has become a conspiracy theorist in retirement. Needless to say, the city of Salt Lake was not sending its best over the weekend. Chlöe just shared a new trailer for her upcoming debut album In Pieces, dropping on March 31st this year. Moreover, this comes after news of the album’s completion and after she shared much excitement for it. “I turned in the album!!!” she shared to Instagram a couple of days ago. “Been crying tears of joy. 3 years in the making. can’t wait for y’all to hear … SOON!!!” With this newest post, the singer hinted at the project’s themes and aesthetic direction. Overall, it seems like the Bailey sister will bring a grand, lush, and personal statement to her fans.

“IN PIECES 3.31.23,” she captioned her post with a heart emoji (the real thing, not the pure red emoji). “My tears are like the water. my heart is like the sun. through chaos, beauty grows. there’s power in my pain,” she added. Furthermore, the short clip features a song snippet, album title, and release date. In the video, Chlöe stands in underwear inside a glass case. While posing and showing off her body and red locks, she stands among flowers, vines, and fallen leaves. As the video closes out, she sheds a tear and the glass case cracks. Also, the song snippet features gorgeous harmonized and manipulated vocals, a lumbering beat, and some distorted synthesizers.

Even though this is exciting news for any R&B fan, her rollout fell victim to some criticism as well. Most of it stems from the announcement of a Chris Brown collab set to drop later this week. Furthermore, many fans expressed disappointment at the 24-year-old working with a historically abusive artist. In fact, backlash to the team-up garnered such outrage that Chris Brown engaged in a lengthy Instagram rant calling out his haters.

While Chlöe hasn’t said much about that situation, she did recently clap back at claims that she Photoshopped performance pictures. “I love you too,” she replied to the a commenter who expressed doubt. “It’s the combo of a corset, latex, and the lower angle. I love my body when I have extra weight on me. I love my body when I get snatched because I’m dancing a lot. The videos match. Y’know I love editing but I’ve been working hard on my body. Ghost have released the latest instalment of their ongoing video story, in which it is hinted that current frontman Papa Emeritus IV could be killed off later this year.

Tobias Forge’s on-stage alter ego has gone through different incarnations with each album cycle, so the death of Papa Emeritus IV may well herald the end of the ‘Impera’ era. The album was released last March.

In the last instalment of the video series, titled ‘Chapter 16: Tax Season’, Papa is seen sitting on a sofa playing an old-looking video game based on the 1989 film Driving Miss Daisy. 

In the middle of this, Sister Imperator calls to ask him what he’s doing and informs him, after some tax-related jokes, that a second show at LA’s Kia Forum on September 12 has been added to the end of their upcoming US tour. As they talk, Papa notices Mr. Saltarian wheeling a glass coffin past his door.

When Papa asks Imperator what’s going on, she ominously replies. ‘That wasn’t an old coffin… that‘s a brand new additional coffin,” adding: “Remember, Jesus is coming.”

After she hangs up, Papa returns to his game, but the screen now reads: “Game over”.

The video is accompanied by a Message From The Clergy: “We wish to inform you that in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes.”’

In a previous video that dropped at the end of last year, Mr Saltarian told Papa Emeritus IV, “The shows are scheduled, I know when your time is up.”

Elsewhere, Forge discussed in an interview with Metal Hammer last year what fans can expect for Ghost’s future projects. “We’re going to come out with a little bit of change before [the expanded tour] – good change”, he said. “We’re not going to go silent. Some things are public, other things not in public view, but there are a lot of things brewing.”

Forge’s comments around change echo that he made last November, when he told Rolling Stone that he’s “trying to build a new vibe for writing this record”. He elaborated: “There are a lot of things in my head that I feel like I want to explore… I want to evoke a few good things from the past and try to eradicate some of the things I didn’t like.”

Over the last decade and change, SNEEZE Magazine has left a mark on street and skateboarding cultures. Although the publication has done so through journalism and photography, it’s also left its mark via footwear collaborations. The latest?: A two-pair linkup on the adidas Superskate.

Reminiscent of several adidas Originals designs from yesteryear, the newly-surfaced duo features straightforward styles. Full suede uppers take on either “Cloud White” or “Core Black” finishes. The serrated 3-Stripes branding on the sides and exposed collar lining deviate from their monochrome surroundings in “Trace Olive” and “Golden Beige,” respectively, adding some personality to the shoes. SNEEZE and the Three Stripes’ latest joint-effort includes wider lace options than the original Superskate from 1989. Additionally, the two options enjoy co-branding on the lateral profile and tongue labels. Underfoot, the sole unit opts for white or black makeovers.

With three weeks of releases already under the London-based brand’s belt, the footwear side of the skateboard label is receiving a lift thanks to a trio of collaborative Reebok Club C II Mid Revenge efforts.

Alongside the frequent collaborator, the Club C II Mid Revenge broadens an already extensive history of dual-effort silhouettes by coordinating a collection of two-toned uppers in “Tan/Brown”, “White/Blue” and “Neon/Black”. Constructing clad-leather ensembles across the trio, tan, black and white play the mainstay protagonist, rendering an all-out coat across the latter tooling while color-matched ribbon laces enjoy accented PALACE branding. Further indulging in branded embellishments, the Union Jack emblem renders along the mid-foot and the tongue while a contrasting crisp white midsole underfoot.

Over the years, the Kardashian and Jenner family has had several creepy encounters with stalkers. A few of these took place in 2021. In April of that year, a stalker appeared at the home of Kendall and Kylie Jenner thrice in one week. He banged on windows and removed his clothing on the premises. Shaquan King, the culprit, was hit with a temporary restraining order. Then in May, Kim also got a restraining order against Charles Peter Zelenoff, a stalker who posted about his love for her on social media repeatedly. He shared videos about his efforts to infiltrate her property. Additionally, he possessed two prior convictions for battery. This led to Kim pursuing a temporary restraining order.

Most recently in Jan. 2023, another man also began stalking Kardashian. Jomonie Victor Zigler believed that Kim was his his wife. He would send her expensive gifts like a diamond ring and luxury sunglasses. “I am concerned about the extent of his delusion belief we are in or will be in an intimate relationship,” Kim said. She was eventually granted a restraining order, as Zigler was not allowed within 100 yards from her residence.

It seems like even a restraining order could not stop Zigler, though. On Feb. 17, Zigler broke into Kim’s gated property in Los Angeles. Violating his restraining order, he approached Kardashian’s house but never made it inside. Kim called Los Angeles Police before any damage or harm could be done. LAPD arrested Zigler and charged him with misdemeanor violation of a protective order.

When Zigler was first reprimanded for his stalking, Kim Kardashian told the court via her lawyer Shawn Holley that he made attempts to enter her home back in December. “There is absolutely no reason or legitimate purpose for him to be contacting me or coming to my home. I am informed that he has attempted to access my home on multiple occasions, beginning on December 26, 2022. I have never shared my home address or the location of my residence with him.” Hopefully, Zigler will finally get the message and back off.

Since she’s made a few changes to her personal style, opting to embrace her ultra-creative side, some have begged Doja to return to her former conventionally attractive outfits and makeup looks.

The trial surrounding the men accused of murdering XXXTENTACION began this month. However, a defense attorney for one of the defendants has desperately tried to get a deposition out of Drake. The feud between the two rappers became a main force in the defense’s argument during the beginning stages of the trial. The defense, Mauricio Padilla, argued that the Canadian rapper had a hand in the Broward County rapper’s death. His attorney has fought the motion, leading to a back-and-forth in court. And while Padilla feels as though this is helping his client’s case, most feel as though it’s an outrageous strategy.

Most recently, reports emerged of Drake’s security guards blocking a subpoena. Padilla filed a motion detailing the encounter with his armed guards on Valentine’s Day at his California residence. “After having the gate shut in his face, the process server posted the subpoena, only to have one of Mr. Graham’s security staff literally kick the subpoena down the lone driveway… Security is heard saying that ‘no one is being served here,” the motion read. “Apparently, Drake’s staff believe that physically kicking the subpoena is a legally sound way of refusing service.”

In the transcripts obtained by Cathy Russon of Law & Crime Network, the security shut down the process servers attempt to hand over the subpoena. “We are not obligated to do anything or accept any, please get off of property,” the security told the server, who then asked him for his name. After refusing to identify himself, the server stated that its only for a “virtual deposition.” “It is not even like a lawsuit bro,” the server said.

Eventually, the two servers said that were going to “drop it.” However, security said they couldn’t accept legal paperwork. “I am not authorized to accept anything,” the security added. At that point, process server #2 pushed security further to accept the documents. “Aubrey AKA Drake, you are being served,” the process server said before the second one added, “By the way, I like Drake. SZA has proven once again her aptitude for making history. For the ninth non-consecutive week, the 33-year-old singer has earned Billboard‘s No. 1 spot for her sophomore release, SOS. According to the outlet, the project has earned 93,000 equivalent album units. SZA now joins Adele and Taylor Swift as female artists who’ve charted No. 1 for nine weeks. The English songstress earned the top spot with her album 23 for ten weeks, whereas the country-turned-pop star previously held the spot for nine weeks with 1989.

In a conversation with the New York Times, SZA reflected on her approach to SOS. “I didn’t even know how to make [the album] cause I didn’t have a purpose,” she dished. The TDE star also explained how Ctrl had been a way to prove her ability to create an album. But now, SZA says, “I did everything I wanted to do.” Regardless, her latest effort has been met with high acclamations from fans, with tracks like “Snooze,” “Nobody Gets Me,” “Low,” and “Shirt” listed as her most popular tracks according to Spotify. “Kill Bill” has also rightfully been receiving attention, charting at No. 2 following every week since its drop.

SZA’s “SOS” Charts No. 1 For The Ninth Week

The highly anticipated album was released last December. It marked SZA’s first full project since her 2017 debut studio effort, Ctrl. Since then, the Missouri-born singer has released various singles and collaborations. She recently dropped Grammy award-nominated “Good Days” and “Hit Different” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. While SZA received primarily positive feedback from SOS, she was criticized for making “sad girl music.” The lyricist addressed these accusations in her NYT interview, explaining that “sad-girl energy has always been my energy. It’s never been, like, bitch-girl energy.” 

Even with haters finding a way to nitpick SOS, the work as a whole is an incredible display of SZA’s refined taste in modern R&B. Her melodic additions to soft beats infuse magically to inflict emotional insights. Needless to say, SOS proudly inhibits “sad girl energy,” creating the perfect soundtrack for comforting a heartbreak.
