Watch Kelly Clarkson cover The Arctic Monkeys ‘Do I Wanna Know’ on ‘Kellyoke’

Kelly Clarkson has covered Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Do I Wanna Know’ on the latest edition of her  ‘Kellyoke’ segment. Watch the moment below.

READ MORE: Arctic Monkeys: “We know more tricks now, but we’re still rolling on that same instinct”

The cover featured on the latest edition of The Kelly Clarkson show and was a faithful rendition of the original song, which was released by Arctic Monkeys in 2013 and taken from their album ‘AM’.

In recent weeks, Clarkson has been covering more indie rock tracks, including ones by Blink-182 and The Offspring.

Check out Clarkson’s take on the classic Arctic Monkeys’ song here:

Last week, Maya Jama shared her rendition of Arctic Monkeys‘ ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ on karaoke.

The Love Island host took to Instagram to share her take on the 2006 Number One hit, from the Sheffield band’s debut album ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’.

“They removed it off tik tok so I’m trying a ting here lol – this has beeeen my karaoke song,” she captioned the clip, which sees her using a hairbrush as a microphone and performing air guitar.

Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys gave ‘The Car’ track ‘Big Ideas’ its tour debut at one of their gigs in Brisbane.

The band recently toured Australia and New Zealand, with headline shows booked between festivals, including Falls Festival and Lost Paradise.

In a five-star review of ‘The Car’NME wrote of ‘Big Ideas’: “Though more sedate, [it] conjure[s] colourful scenic images of The Talented Mr Ripley and ’60s James Bond flicks, a clear contrast to the art-house black-and-white cinema of ‘TBH&C’.”

The record was also named NME’s Album Of The Year in 2022. Speaking to NMEdrummer Matt Helders reflected on the record and its shift in sound. “I think, even if it’s been done subconsciously, we’ve definitely always tried to move in a different direction, while still picking up where we left off from the last record,” he said.

“Each album has given us the opportunity to do something else. I mean, ‘Humbug’, for example, was a particular turning point for us; we were like, ‘If we can get away with this, we can do anything’.”

The Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus Pours Itself A Glass Of Fruit Punch

Introduced less than a year ago, the Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus enjoyed a seldom-release schedule in its first year on shelves. Quickly carving out a niche within the Air Max cushioned community, the extension of the 1998 Air Max Plus is grabbing a pitcher of fruit punch out of the fridge for its next tonal ensemble.

Casting “Off-White” hues across the textile base, tongue and laces, vibrant swatches of orange fill the vamp and heel in an embroidered fashion while further laying claim to the midfoot shank below. Dominated by the synthetic caging system being cured in a titular wash of “Fruit Punch”, the latter further consumes the nubuck mudguard and adjacent rubberized heel counter. Infusing the model’s synonymous recycled Crater Foam sole unit underfoot, a disparate jet-black contrast touches down along the midfoot’s covered-up Swooshes in tandem with the full-length cushioning structure underfoot.

Enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Fruit Punch” while we sit tight on further release details in the meantime.

The Reebok Shaq Attaq Returns In The OG “Black Azure” Colorway

No sneaker is ever truly forgotten, as footwear brands will often bring about the return of past classics when the time is most opportune. Fall 2022, for example, saw the resurrection of the Shaq Attaq, which — following the reappearance of an original colorway — has joined Reebok’s licensed collaborations with Street Fighter and DC Comics. Thankfully, the signature won’t be left behind in 2022, as it’s confirmed to be reissuing the “Black Azure” colorway.

Also commonly referred to as the “Away,” the Reebok Shaq Attaq “Black Azure” is one of the sneaker’s original offerings. The colorway — last seen around a decade ago — combines a range of blacked out leathers, with “Azure” applied along the shoe’s tongue, collar, and adjacent details. The cool tone even highlights the “SHAQ” text embroidered onto the heel, whose lettering is partially obscured by the athlete’s iconic Dunkman logo.

Enjoy a close-up look at the 2023 Reebok Shaq Attaq “Black Azure” right here. Sizes are currently available right now at select EU retailers; Reebok.com and stockists stateside will follow suit on February 10th.

Speaking of black and blue, new images of the Tiffany Nike Air Force 1 were unveiled earlier this morning.

Rick Ross Reveals His First Rap Name In The 4th Grade

Fans love a good “before they were famous” story, and this one arrives courtesy of Rick Ross. The Florida mogul has floated at the top of the Rap game for some time, but he comes from humble beginnings like other aspiring artists. Rozay sat down with The Crazy Sexy Cool Show and detailed his first Rap group in the fourth grade. The host wanted to know what the young rapping Ross’s name was.

He paused briefly before admitting, “It was a wack name. I don’t even want to say it.”

With a bit of coaxing, Ross decided to tell the world. That is before showing off a tattoo with his previous moniker.

“It’s Willow,” he said apprehensively. “And where that came from was, it was a film with the short, fat dude. And, you know, everybody know me as ‘Will,’ and they was like, ‘Yo, you Willow.’”

Ross was referencing the 1988 classic fantasy film Willow starring Warwick Davis. “I was like, ‘Yo, that’s wack,” Ross added.

He further said that his Rap group didn’t even have a name because “we was wack… We was a wack group.”

Thankfully, his previous name didn’t stick. Check out Rick Ross revisiting his earliest Rap memories above.

Julia Fox Responds To NYC Apartment Tour Backlash

Thanks to social media, celebrities are able to share more intimate content with their fanbase than ever before. Those who live in luxurious abodes often wind up sharing their homes on the cover of Architectural Digest. However, Julia Fox chose to stay true to her brand by showing off her modest New York City apartment on TikTok.

Last week, the Italian starlet uploaded a video breaking down the layout of the home she shares with her 2-year-old son, Valentino. She reveals that she turned her living room into a bedroom, and converted her closet into a playspace for her beloved little boy.

@juliafox

Come with me on a very underwhelming apartment tour! also to clarify I have only ONE mouse and he’s cute

♬ original sound – Julia fox

Fox also didn’t hesitate to point out any of the mess and clutter surrounding her. There was a collection of shoe boxes in her kitchen, and a mouse responsible for picking up crumbs. While many praised the Uncut Gems actress for being “real” and “humble,” the TikTok obviously didn’t come without its share of criticism.

Yesterday (January 30), the Forbidden Fruits podcast host responded to a comment inquiring why she lives in such a modest apartment if her net worth is allegedly $30 million. “Even though I could have probably afforded a bigger place — probably, ’cause I am in New York after all — you know, it’s about having that sense of normalcy for Valentino,” she explained.

“I don’t want him to grow up and be, like, a f*cking prick,” she went on. Fox also noted that she grew up in a one-bedroom in Italy before moving to Manhattan at age six. Because she “grew up in the real world,” she hopes that her only child will have a similar experience.

The 32-year-old also addressed the rumours regarding her net worth. “First of all, I’m not worth $30 million. Not even close. And second of all, I don’t give a f*ck because I don’t need $30 million,” she told the camera. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. All those celebrity net worth [websites] are complete BS.”

In the past, some haters have accused Fox of spending thousands of dollars on her unique designer wardrobe. She later brought this up in the same video, explaining that the pieces she wears are often borrowed couture. Many also come from young designers on the rise.

When reflecting on the response to her NYC abode, she said, “I got a lot of mixed reviews. Most of it was really… supportive, and it really warms my heart that so many people could relate. I used to be, like, an aesthetic queen and want my space curated perfectly a certain way, but then I realized there’s more to life. I don’t give a f*ck, OK?”

Her apartment may have people talking now, but earlier this month, it was the socialite’s past relationships with Kanye West and Drake that made headlines. During a sitdown with Andy Cohen, she candidly answered questions about both men, among other things.

Lil Jon Threatens To Sue Over “Lovers & Friends” Festival: Report

Live Nation is about to make an enemy out of Lil Jon. He’s known for his vivacious personality, noticeable adlibs, and fire productions, but a recent report states Jon isn’t happy with the Lovers & Friends Festival promoters. The concert returns in May, and Lil Jon Is upset that the title of his hit track is being used as the festival’s name.

It’s reported that this week, the rapper’s team sent a letter to Live Nation hoping “to reach a financial agreement.”

This allegedly isn’t the first time Lil Jon has attempted to converse with Live Nation representatives. His attorney, Doug Davis, is said to have talked with the company back in May 2022. Additionally, it was “assumed” that Live Nation would do right by Lil Jon. Things didn’t escalate because he was headlining the festival with several famous friends.

However, this time around, there were many artists asked to once again join the line-up—but Lil Jon was left out. Another of the artist’s attorneys compared the situation to having a “Don’t Stop Believin’” festival without Journey.

Latto Connects With bLAck pARty To Remix “BOMB” New Joint Single

The past few months have seen Latto more booked and busy than ever before. Aside from getting hate for wearing the same pair of underwear twice (and subsequently listing them for sale on eBay as a joke), the 777 artist has been in her musical bag as of late too.

Near the end of December, she officially dropped a previously leaked title, “Another Nasty Song.” Before that, she joined GloRilla and the late Gangsta Boo on “FTCU” and blew audiences away alongside Chloe Bailey with “For the Night.” Today (January 31), she’s appearing on her first single of 2023 – bLAck pARty’s “BOMB” remix.

Latto attends the Harper’s BAZAAR and Bloomingdale’s Fête Celebrating Harper’s BAZAAR Global ICONS Portfolio and Bloomingdale’s 150th Anniversary at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street Store on September 09, 2022 in New York City. (Photo by Udo Salters/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images)

The song originally appeared on the 31-year-old’s Hummingbird album last August. It came complete with a feature from Kari Faux. Clearly, though, BP was in the mood to switch things up in the new year.

“Y’all can have the summer / Top-down in the winter with it / Might cop a crib with a pool in it / Just to have your favourite model skinny-dipping,” bLAck pARty rhymes early on.

Later in the song, Latto takes over with her braggadocious flow, riding the beat like a master.

Other popular songs to come from the Arkansas native’s last project are “Hotline” and “I Love You More Than You Know.” The latter boasts an appearance from Childish Gambino. Additionally, he worked with names like Saba, Jean Deaux, and Gwen Bunn on various other titles.

Stream bLAck pARty’s “BOMB” remix featuring Latto on Spotify or Apple Music below. Afterward, revisit the multi-talents Hummingbird album here.

Quotable Lyrics:

Y’all can have the summer
Top-down in the winter with it
Might cop a crib with a pool in it
Just to have your favourite model skinny-dipping

James Gunn Says Ezra Miller’s “The Flash” Is “One Of The Greatest Superhero Movies Ever”

James Gunn says that Ezra Miller’s upcoming movie, The Flash, is “one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” Additionally, his DC co-head, Peter Safran, says that the studio is “fully supportive” of Miller’s recovery. The two addressed the status of the film after the recent DC Universe slate presentation at the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California.

“Ezra is completely committed to their recovery,” Safran said during the presentation. “We are fully supportive of that journey that they’re on right now. When the time is right, when they feel like they’re ready to have the discussion, we’ll all figure out what the best path forward is. But right now, they are completely focused on their recovery, and after our conversations with them over the last couple of months, it feels like they’re making enormous progress.”

LONDON, ENGLAND – NOVEMBER 04: Ezra Miller attends the ‘Justice League’ photocall at The College on November 4, 2017 in London. (Photo by Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images)

Gunn added: “I also think it’s important to point out that thousands of people worked on The Flash. These people dedicated the past few years of their lives to making something really special. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, Christina Hodson, Michael Keaton and all of the other people that you know. To start making it as if a movie depends on this one person can be frustrating as a filmmaker.”

Miller has been making headlines for numerous erratic social media rants, arrests, and court appearances over the last many months. They’ve been accused of throwing a chair at a woman, grooming minors, and more. Regardless, the film is still scheduled to hit theaters on June 16.

Of what to expect, Gunn said: “I will say here that Flash is probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.”

South Korea’s UNAFFECTED Gives The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 A Trail-Inspired Makeover

Over the last few years, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 has enjoyed some time in the spotlight. Having debuted in 2008, the performance running silhouette has found a second life among “dad shoe” trend enthusiasts.

Recently, South Korean label UNAFFECTED (@unaffected.co.kr on Instagram) unveiled three collaborative pairs of the GEL-cushioned design. Netizens have been quick to draw comparisons to the unreleased trio and work from Kiko Kostadinov, the Bulgarian designer that’s been curating the ASICS SportStyle line since October 2020. Additionally, the upcoming sneakers feature speed lacing systems that fall in line with other “gorpcore” offerings on the market.

The bunch by UNAFFECTED delivers mostly uniform looks, although grey and black complement teal, white, and steel finishes. Early pictures of the shoes don’t reveal obvious co-branding, although the South Korean label stamps its name on the sock-liners.

Not much is known about the collaboration, but that’s likely to change soon. As you wait, enjoy a closer look at the shoes ahead, courtesy of Up To Date on Twitter.

Nike Basketball’s “What The” Era Touches Down On The Nike LeBron Witness 7

From the Zoom Soldier to the recently unveiled NXXT Gen, LeBron James brand with The Swoosh has always proffered a cost-effective option to the vast amount of technology – and ensuing price point – of his signature silhouette. And while the Nike LeBron Witness 7 has dressed in Lakers-exclusive colors, the latest proposition employs a concoction of hues reminiscent of The Swooshes’ “What The” era.

Casting both feet in the same color blocking, an introductory shade of “Sail” encompasses the midsole while the forefoot dawns a green grid-layered appearance. Illuminated by light orange embroidered insignias, the latter fills the mesh tongue construction and midfoot panel while a deep wash of dark blue with a seldom violet undertone envelops the heel counter. Accented by vibrant purple stitching and “Royal Blue” heel tabs proffering a crisp white lion insignia, jet-black Swooshes pair with the laces and sock liner for a centralized contrast whereas a titular wash of fruit punch consumes the serrated “AIR” branded heel cage.

Finished by an ever-so-light blue tread and forefoot straps, enjoy official images of the Nike LeBron Witness 7 “Multi-Color” below while we sit tight on further release details.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Air Jordan 2 “Lucky Green” is set to release this Friday, February 3rd.

Lil Keed‘s Mom Announces Posthumous Album, “Keed Talk To ‘Em 2”

Lil Keed‘s mother, Tonnie Woods-Reed, says the rapper has a posthumous album titled, Keed Talk To ‘Em 2, dropping soon. Woods-Reed also confirmed a new single, “Long Way to Go,” releasing on Friday.

“On May 13, 2022 I lost my son Raqhid Render – who many of you knew as the artist Lil Keed. While this journey through the different phases of grief has been indescribably hard, a way that I have found to cope is through his music,” she began the post from Keed’s official account.

Woods-Reed then explained that Keed was working on the Keed Talk To ‘Em sequel just before his death.

She continued: “As much as he was a great father, son, and friend – he was also an artist who (thanks to many of you) lived and continues to live through his music.

“With that being said, the time has come to share some of our last pieces of Keed with you all starting with the release of his first single ‘Long Way To Go’ this Friday. This song holds a special place in my heart and as you guys will see it will reflect on many aspects of Keed’s journey here on Earth.”

She concluded: “I hope you all appreciate it as we take the first step in cementing Keed’s legacy. Long Live Keed!”

Lil Gotit, Doe Boy, Reese LaFlare, T-Shyne, Jacquees, and more all voiced their love for Keed in the comments section.

Keed passed away unexpectedly at just 24 years old, last year. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed his cause of death to natural causes due to eosinophilia.
