Where To Buy The UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High In Black

As UNDERCOVER returns to the Nike Dunk High, they’re forgoing both the jungle-inspired aesthetic of years ago and the fictional UBA outfit they founded back in 2021. For the Spring/Summer season, Jun Takahashi is leaning on a more minimal approach, dressing up the aforementioned silhouette in both a black and white colorway. And though unfortunate, only the former will be making its way to retailers and Nike SNKRS.

All of the beloved UC motifs are here in tow, branding and speckling the shoe as is the norm. Quite a bit of the construction — save for these parts — are clad in a dark black finish, their texture alternating between a smooth and tumbled leather. Text, then, brightens up the entire heel in white, spelling out a slew of classic UNDERCOVER themes. “CHAOS/BALANCE,” for starters, is blown up across the heel; but while “CHAOS” is typed in English, “BALANCE” is replaced by the German equivalent “GLEICHGEWICHT.” Additionally, “NEUES LEBEN” (New Life) is written overhead.
