Jack Harlow nets his second top five album on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as Come Home the Kids Miss You debuts at No. 2 on the list dated May 21. The set earned 113,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending May 12, according to Luminate.

Streaming comprises 103,000 of Come Home’s first-week units, a figure that equals 137.1 million on-demand official streams of the album’s songs. Traditional album sales contribute 8,000 units, with the remaining 2,000 from track-equivalent album units. (One unit equals the following levels of consumption: one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.)

Come Home follows Harlow’s previous album, Thats What They All Say, which peaked at No. 2 on the list in December 2020. Prior to that, his EP Sweet Action reached a No. 14 best in July 2020.

The new album contains “First Class,” the incumbent champ on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in its fourth overall week on top. The single also rebounds to No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. On both lists, “First Class” became Harlow’s first solo chart-topper and second career leader, after “Industry Baby,” a collaboration with Lil Nas X.

Elsewhere, “First Class” advances from the runner-up spot to crown the Rhythmic Airplay chart. It registered a 22% improvement in week-over-week plays to become the most-played song at U.S. monitored rhythmic radio stations in the week ending May 15. The climb wraps the quickest ascent to No. 1 for any song in two years, since Drake’s “Toosie Slide” also needed five weeks to its coronation in May 2020.

As Come Home arrives, 12 of the album’s tracks debut on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The new recruits include a pair of top 10 hits: “Dua Lipa” (No. 8) and “Churchill Downs,” featuring Drake (No. 9). With the latter, Drake earns his record-extending 101st top 10 on the chart.
