Shaq has been a busy man as of late. For instance, just yesterday, the former NBA superstar was in Sonoma, California where he got to DJ after the NASCAR race. Overall, it was a big celebration out there as Martin Truex Jr. won the race in a dominant fashion. However, on social media, fans were talking about the legend in a whole different light. Ultimately, this was due to some recent DMs that were leaked between himself and a woman named Ariana Josephine. For those who don’t know, she is the viral Home Depot girl.

Josephine gained fame when she took to social media with a photo of herself in her Home Depot outfit. She made it clear that she enjoys working this job and would never start an OnlyFans. This received a ton of support, however, it quickly devolved after she made some unsavory comments about sex workers. Subsequently, Shaq entered her DMs to tell her that she is doing nothing wrong. “Don’t let them people bother u,” he wrote. He then said to have a great day and to let her boyfriends know he says “hi.”

Shaq Speaks Out

Of course, a lot of people took this as Shaq trying to shoot his shot at the young woman. However, he quickly made sure to dispel these comments. “Just uplifting people that’s what the diesel do baby I uplift people, google me,” he wrote in DJ Akademiks’ comments section. Clearly, he was a bit annoyed with everyone trying to project onto him, and he let those feelings be known. Ultimately, it is good to see Shaq standing up for himself in these situations. Although, there is no doubt that Home Depot girl is getting even more clout than before.

Of course, Shaq has a bit more time on his hands now that TNT is done covering the NBA for the year. The Finals are always on ESPN, much to the dismay of a lot of fans. Regardless, this is a time when Diesel can do whatever he wants. That includes DM’ing women online, at his own discretion.

Method Man has confirmed why Redman was absent from the third season of Power Book II: Ghost. He previously played the character of Theo Rollins, but Method Man has confirmed that the role was recast because Redman wouldn’t get the coronavirus vaccine. Method Man discussed the situation during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

“He wouldn’t get the jab. Did I talk to Redman about it? No, we close-close. Shit like that don’t even need to be said. He’s not the first or the last person that’ll probably happen to,” Meth said, before referencing another actor who experienced a similar problem. “Redman, he made a decision and I stick by whatever his decision was. If he feels it was best for him, I agree with him.”

Skip Bayless is one of the greatest hot-take artists in the entire world. Overall, that is what he has made his entire career off of. As for last night, the NBA Finals were on an off-night, which meant Skip didn’t have much to watch. However, there was a fight going on between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III. As you probably know by now, that fight was an absolute disaster for a plethora of reasons. Mostly, it was because of the in-ring brawl that took place after the referee had waved it off. The whole thing was a debacle, and Skip seems to have an interesting take on it all.

“The Floyd-Gotti “brawl” after my man Kenny Bayless stopped the “fight” was obviously scripted and staged,” Skip Bayless explained. Overall, this is a pretty bold thing to say. This is especially true when you consider how Skip said this so matter-of-factly. However, this is most likely a hot take and opinion rather than a declarative statement. That said, the only people who know whether or not this was staged are Floyd’s team and Gotti’s team.

If this was, indeed, all staged, then it is easy to see why they would do it. Outside of this fight, very few people knew the fight was happening. Moreover, it seems to be dominating sports discourse this morning. Regardless, we will wait for Floyd Mayweather to comment on it all before going the Skip Bayless route with our commentary. After years of waiting behind bars, it’s officially time for YNW Melly’s double-murder trial. Things are finally kicking off today (June 12) in Broward County, Florida. As Miami New Times reports, the rapper is facing charges of killing two of his affiliates back in October 2018. YNW Sakchaser (born Anthony Williams) and YNW Juvy (Christopher Thomas Jr.) were reportedly shot at by Melly inside a gray Jeep Compass. Afterward, they were driven to the emergency room by his accomplice, Cortlen Henry.

The accused killer and his assistant assert that Sakchaser and Juvy were killed in a drive-by shooting. However, prosecutors in the case state that the forensic evidence shows the story was fabricated. Melly (real name Jamell Demons) turned himself in in February 2019. Police subsequently arrested him on capital murder charges. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old has vehemently denied the allegations against him in the years since. Attorneys have long attempted to free the “Murder On My Mind” artist as he sat behind bars awaiting trial to no avail.

Tyga has been working on some new music and according to TMZ, Travis Barker is involved. Over the weekend Tyga was seen heading into Barker’s studio, a sight which has apparently happened pretty frequently in recent weeks. Various sources say that the pair are working on a new EP together. While they haven’t formally announced anything it’s expected to arrive sometime this summer. The pair have teamed up before in the past. Barker’s 2015 song “100” featured Tyga alongside a number of other rappers.

The pair have been finding time to collab despite each having a busy schedule recently. Just a few days ago Tyga released “West Coast Weekend” a tribute to California alongside rappers YG and Blxst. That song followed his new single “Day One” which dropped last month. Barker on the other hand has been performing as part of the reunited Blink-182 lineup. The trio made their surprise return in April at Coachella. During weekend two they were elevated to the main stage after weekend one headliner Frank Ocean dropped out.

Tyga and Travis Barker also have a family connection, albeit a loose one. Last year Travis Barker married Kourtney Kardashian. A long time before that Tyga used to date Kylie Jenner. Now he’s following in the footsteps of other rappers and collaborating with Barker on new music. In the past few years he’s worked with artists like Machine Gun Kelly, Trippie Redd, XXXTENTACION, and Lil Nas X. Barker produced the MGK and Blackbear collaboration “My Ex’s Best Friend” has gone two times platinum.

During the rehearsals for their surprise Coachella performance, there was trouble for Travis Barker. A crazed fan tried to gain entry to his gated community by driving her car through the gate. Thankfully, she was apprehended by security quickly but the story still drew attention following some other high-profile celebrity stalking incidents earlier this year. It feels like every week, a new Drake leak surfaces. Whether snippets, reference tracks, or demos of already-released singles, his music vault finds its way online regularly. Ultimately, fans believe this could be a sign that he has a follow-up to Her Loss in the works. Most recently, a reference track for his single, “Search & Rescue” emerged with an additional verse from Lil Durk, whose reference to Kevin Gates caused a stir online.

“I’m worse than Kevin Gates, I’m me/ India know I’m down to drink pee/ O-P, mix it with the lean,” he raps on the song. Of course, the line references Gates’ interview with Bootleg Kev where he admitted that he would willingly drink Beyoncé’s urine if given the chance. However, Durk later took to Instagram where he stated that he was actually referring to lean. “Down to drink p—op (pop) as in soda mix it with the line… Just sometimes,” he wrote with a laughing emoji.

Lil Durk Leaked Verse On “Search & Rescue”

At this point, Drake hasn’t really reacted or acknowledged Lil Durk’s leaked verse on “Search & Rescue.” However, it strongly indicates that the two have more music in the stash. The first time they connected on wax was on “Laugh Now Cry Later.” Then, they reconnected for Certified Lover Boy on “In The Bible” alongside Giveon. However, prior to the release of Almost Healed, he suggested that Drake might also have a feature on the project. 

Hopefully, we might hear more from Drake and Lil Durk in the near future. The Chicago rapper hinted at the release of new music after the release of his latest album. He hinted at a deluxe edition while simultaneously teasing a follow-up to his collaborative project with Lil Baby. However, he also expressed interest in collaborating on a full-length project with country singer Morgan Wallen, who appeared on Durk’s Almost Healed. Harry Styles halted his performance in Slane Castle to check on an audience member who fell over.

The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer was performing in Ireland on Saturday (June 10), as part of his ongoing ‘Love On Tour’ shows, when he brought the show to a stop to check on the wellbeing of a fan.

As per footage obtained by Dublin Live, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter stopped mid-performance to draw attention to a member of the audience who seemed to have fallen.

“Give her a bit of space and water. Is everybody else good?” he asked in front of the 80,000-strong crowd, checking if those in the area around her were also in need of any medical assistance. He also spoke directly to the female fan, adding “You good? Did you fall, is it slippy?”

Later in the performance, the former One Direction singer also shared an anecdote with his fans about how he got injured at a show in Tallaght, Dublin.

“Thanks for all the support over the years apart from the time I got headbutted because I went to Tallaght,” he joked. “Is anyone in here tonight from Tallaght? I forgive you Tallaght, I forgive you.”

At Saturday’s performance, Styles performed a 22-song setlist, including some of his most famous hits including ‘Sign Of The Times’, ‘As It Was’ and ‘Late Night Talking’. He also performed a rendition of one of his previous One Direction songs elsewhere in the show, playing a solo version of the 2011 hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.

This isn’t the first time that Styles has paused one of his live performances to check on the well-being of an audience member. Back in 2017, the pop star brought a concert in London to a pause after a female fan suffered a panic attack.

The singer was performing ‘Just A little Bit Of Your Heart’ at the Eventim Apollo when he spotted the fan in the crowd. “Is everyone OK? You still with me? Do you want to help her up?” he asked. “If everyone could give her some space. If everyone could chill for one second, we’ll get some people.”

In other Harry Styles news, last week rumours arose stating that the singer could potentially be the next artist to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show.

“There’s been a lot of chatter, that multiple-time GRAMMY award winner and former One Direction Star Harry Styles will be the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show Performer,” a platform called MLFootball wrote in a tweet that has since gone viral.

In other Harry Styles news, it was reported that the singer was included on the Sunday Times Rich List – named as some of the UK’s richest people under the age of 35.

With a reported wealth of £150million, the 29-year-old solo artist is expected to have made much of the figure from his third studio effort ‘Harry’s House’, which came out in May 2022 and earned the title of biggest-selling UK album of last year.
