Michael B. Jordan Apologizes To His Mom For Nearly Nude Calvin Klein Photoshoot

It’s Michael B. Jordan’s world, we’re just living in it. In recent weeks, the Black Panther actor’s name has been making headlines thanks to various impressive efforts on his part. Just last month he exciting job of hosting on Saturday Night Live, and his opening monologue certainly didn’t disappoint. At the time, he addressed his breakup from Lori Harvey, which shocked fans of the couple in mid-2022.

Aside from that, the 36-year-old star is gearing up for his directorial debut, Creed III to hit theatres. The film is set to release on Friday (March 3), alongside a fire soundtrack executive produced by J. Cole and his Dreamville crew. For the past few days Jordan has been attending red carpets and giving interviews about his upcoming project, as well as the racy Calvin Klein photoshoot he just dropped.

Michael’s Mom Knows He’s Got It Going On

On Monday (February 27), a collection of black and white images showing the California native’s chisled body in various pairs of CK underwear made their debut. As expected, it wasn’t long before thirsty replies began pouring in, chiefly on Twitter. From propositioning the actor for sexual favours to admitting to excessively zooming in on the images, users didn’t hold back when revealing their freaky fantasies abut Jordan.

While chatting with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, the multi-talent admitted that he gave his mom, Donna Jordan, an apology before the NSFW images went public. “I was like, my mama gon’ have to see this. Let me call her and be like, ‘I’m sorry. It’s out here.’ My business all out in the streets — literally,” he joked. Regardless if his family matriarch approves or not, the reactions prove that Jordan is one step closer to beating those “corny” allegations.

Creed III is Around the Corner

The Creed III premiere is quickly approaching later this week, and ahead of that, Jordan has been hinting at the possibility of more projects to come in the “Creedverse.” Specifically, he mentioned the possibility of “a spin-off of the TV show, the animation or graphic novel, or a video game.” Read what else the director had to say here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Dream A World” Release Date Confirmed

One of the best shoes to ever be worn by Penny Hardaway was the Nike Air Foamposite One. Overall, this is one of those shoes that you either love or hate. Regardless of how you may feel about it, there is no doubt that this shoe has a real cult following. This shoe is especially popular on the East Coast, with New York being a primary arbiter for this silhouette. Although the shoe has lost a bit of popularity, there is no doubt that a lot of people still absolutely adore these.

While new colorways are typically few and far between, Nike is always trying to do something new with the shoe. This is good news for sneakerheads who have been hoping for a Foamposite resurgence. Furthermore, it is great for collectors who just want a pair to say they have them. Either way, this is a silhouette that ought to be celebrated. It is truly unique and it will always be iconic, regardless of how tastes may change.

The latest Foamposite to be revealed is this “Dream A World” offering which can be seen above and below. Overall, this is a unique color scheme that goes against the monochromatic versions some fans are used to. Firstly, the main color you see here is a light and cloudy blue. However, the upper is a mixture of colors that are mixed into a blurry glow. White, black, and light blue can all be found here, and it is hard to pinpoint the inspiration. Secondly, the overlays that go up the laces and the tongue are grey. This is then paired with grey and light blue laces.

If you are a fan of this shoe, you will be able to grab a pair as of Friday, March 3rd. Moreover, the sneaker is going to cost $250 USD. It’s expensive, but that is the going rate for a Foamposite right now. Let us know what you think about this, down in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sneaker world.

Thundercat Disses Chris Brown While Hanging With Robert Glasper & Drake

At early February’s Grammy awards, R&B icon Robert Glasper took home the award for best R&B album. His Black Radio III project includes stellar features guests like Common and Erykah Badu. Additionally, it beat out albums from Mary J. Blige and Lucky Daye. However, one of his R&B peers was not too thrilled with this result. Chris Brown, who was also nominated in the category, had some choice words for Glasper. “Y’all playing. Who da f–k is this?” he wrote on Instagram. “Who the f–k is Robert Glasper? I’ma keep kicking y’all a– respectfully.”

After receiving backlash for this, though, Breezy texted Glasper an apology: “I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean,” he texted. But, Glasper still used the incident to his advantage. Selling t-shirts with “Who the f–k is Robert Glasper?” printed on it, Glasper raised donations for a New Orleans music education non-profit. However, even though it seems both Brown and Glasper have since moved on from the debacle, fellow R&B star Thundercat has not.

Thundercat Takes A Shot Of His Own

On Tuesday (Feb. 28), beloved guitarist/vocalist Thundercat posted to Instagram a group of photos from a recent outing. Shown hanging out with Drake, Robert Glasper and Dave Chappelle, Thundercat used the opportunity to jab at Breezy. “‘Who the fuck is Robert Glasper?’…lol.” Thundercat captioned the post. It truly means something when Glasper is hanging with superstars like Drake. It makes it even more curious how Chris Brown could not know who he is. Either way, though, Thundercat surely felt it necessary to defend his friend.

The photos Thundercat posted were taken at Bootsy Bellows Club in Los Angeles. It’s not currently clear why Drake, Glasper, and the gang were there, or what day they were. But, Bootsy Bellows also just recently hosted an album release party for Don Toliver. So, it would appear that this particular club is home to many of Hollywood’s most decorated stars. And, in particular, that would include the esteemed Robert Glasper.

George Clinton Praises Wiz Khalifa’s Performance Of Him In “Spinning Gold”

George Clinton is happy with what he’s seen of Wiz Khalifa’s portrayal of him in the upcoming film, Spinning Gold. The film follows Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, who discovered KISS, Donna Summer, the Village People, and more. Clinton spoke about Khalifa’s performance and confirmed that he gave the rapper advice during an interview with TMZ in Los Angeles.

“It’s cool. It makes me cool,” he joked to the outlet. “Made me look like Bootsy [Collins].” He also confirmed that both he and Khalifia were able to impart wisdom to each other during their conversations. “He got that new wisdom. I got that old wisdom,” he explained.

In addition to Wiz Khalifa, the cast features Jeremy Jordan as Neil Bogart, Jason Isaacs as Al Bogart, Jason Derulo as Ron Isley, Jay Pharoah as Cecil Holmes, Michelle Monaghan as Beth Bogart, and many more. The film is directed by Neil’s son, Timothy Scott Bogart. Spinning Gold is scheduled for release on March 31.

The official synopsis for Spinning Gold reads, “Along with a ragtag team of young music lovers, Neil Bogart and Casablanca Records would rewrite history and change the music industry forever. Their mix of creative insanity, a total belief in each other and the music they were creating, shaped our culture and ultimately defined a generation. In a story so unbelievable that it can only be true, comes the motion picture event of the musical journey of Neil Bogart and how his Casablanca Records created the greatest soundtrack of our lives.” Check out a trailer for the film below.

Spinning Gold won’t be the first time Khalifa has ventured into acting. He previously appeared in the Netflix film, The After Party, back in 2018. He’s also been credited with appearances in episodes of The Eric Andre Show, American Dad!, and more over the years.

Janet Jackson’s Performances Slammed By Nephew For “Degrading & Objectifying” Women

When you’re in a family as big as Janet Jackson is, there’s bound to be drama from time to time. The most recent tidbit of gossip to catch the eye of bloggers comes from TJ Jackson’s Twitter page, where he markedly shared his thoughts on his aunt’s past performances. His comments came in response to another user who shared a salacious video of the R&B vocalist grinding on a man and feeling him up as the audience watched on.

“I never liked when she did this in concerts either” he explained, proving that he’s not hypocritical for calling out Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion over their controversial “WAP” song in other tweets. “I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art… It degrades and [objectifies] women in a way that’s not healthy,” he went on to say. Afterward, he confirmed that he has a preference for the “That’s The Way Love Goes” version of Janet.

Jackson Family Drama

I never liked when she did this in concerts either. I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art…it degrades and objectify’s women in a way that’s not healthy. I prefer the “That’s The Way Love Goes” Janet.

— TJ Jackson (@tjjackson) February 28, 2023

It’s unfair but men aren’t as objectified as women. Nevertheless to me it diminishes it and leads to other stereotypes. Vulgarity is not art to me…it’s more shock and awe and can lead to perceptions, and even worse, role models that don’t help our advancement.

— TJ Jackson (@tjjackson) February 28, 2023

TJ’s comments didn’t take long to earn him dozens of angry and confused replies, many of which he gave the time of day to. When asked by a follower what his thoughts would be on a similar performance from a male, he explained, “It’s unfair, but men aren’t as objectified as women. Nevertheless, to me, it diminishes it and leads to other stereotypes.” The way the singer sees it, “vulgarity is not art,” rather, it’s used to create shock and awe.

“[It] can lead to perceptions, and even worse, role models that don’t help our advancement,” his post concluded. Despite those continuing to come at him, the 44-year-old made it clear in several well-written tweets that his stance is what it is, but he still has love for his aunt. Elsewhere in the debate, others tried to call out TJ for trashing Janet when the “Rhythm Nation” artist‘s brother was known as something of a sex symbol during his prime.

TJ Defends His Late Uncle, Michael

His videos never objectified women. That’s my issue. I can’t understand why you would be okay with that. I’m trying to teach my daughters to be queens not hoes.

— TJ Jackson (@tjjackson) February 28, 2023

“So when Michael grabbed his crotch and even got his video banned for vulgarity, did that diminish his art?” one person pressed TJ. “[Because] you could argue he, at times, was more vulgar than Janet,” they added. Not long after, MJ’s nephew came to his late uncle’s defense. “His videos never objectified women,” the father of four pointed out.

He then wrote, “That’s my issue. I can’t understand why you would be okay with that. I’m trying to teach my daughters to be queens, not hoes.” Do you think that Janet Jackson’s past performances were too sexy? Sound off in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Dr. Dre Recalls Calling Michael B. Jordan “Crazy” For Directing & Starring In “Creed III”

The Creedverse is expanding with another installment that has taken over Hollywood thanks to Michael B. Jordan. The actor has been building on a successful career since he was a teen, and his efforts have paid off exponentially. As fans fawn over his stripped-down Calvin Klein ad, the Creed III premiere in Los Angeles was the place to be. The who’s who of Hollywood descended on the TCL Chinese Theater, and Entertainment Tonight caught a brief moment with Dr. Dre.

The Compton native is not only an L.A. icon but a global superstar. Dre has helped develop and produced records for artists who turned into Rap’s elite, so he knows a thing or two when spotting talent. Creed III marks Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut, and he stars in the film opposite several acclaimed talents, including Jonathan Majors.

With a legacy such as Dre’s, it was only fitting that Jordan & Co. approached the Aftermath mogul about working on music for the film. While speaking with ET‘s Nischelle Turner, the megaproducer explained how the partnership unfolded. “Mike actually came to my house and screened the film for me, and I thought he was out of his mind,” Dre remembered with a laugh. “First-time director and starring in the film? It’s like, you gotta be crazy to do that because it’s extremely difficult.”

“[But] I was so proud of him,” Dre continued. “I said, ‘Listen, man, I can’t wait to see what’s gonna come out of your mind next, as far as the direction goes,’ you know? It was amazing.” He added, “I thought they did an amazing job. I’m really proud of it.” Although his appearance on the red carpet was due to his artistic inclusion, the hitmaker said he was there specifically to support Michael B. Jordan.

More Props To The Acclaimed Actor

“One of the other reasons why I’m here is because he’s such a good person,” Dre said. “He’s a fantastic human being. So I’m here to support him.” Creed III hits theaters on March 3.

BBC local staff vote in favour of strike over radio cuts

Workers at BBC‘s regional services in England will stage a 24 hour strike next month over plans to merge some local radio shows including BBC Introducing.

READ MORE: Inside the fight to save the local BBC Introducing shows: “It’s so much bigger than just radio play”

The walkout is set to take place at 11am on March 15, on the same day as the Budget, after 83 per cent of members of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) voted in favour of the move.

A spokesperson said they were “disappointed at the outcome of the ballot”, reports BBC News but NUJ General Secretary Michelle Stanistreet said its members had shown “their determination not to stand by and see local radio output dismantled”.

It comes after the BBC has announced plans for its 39 local stations to share more shows in afternoons, evenings and at weekends.

Under the proposals, the stations would keep their own weekday morning programmes but then share 20 afternoon weekday shows, 10 shows after 6pm and a single all-England programme after 10pm. Weekend output will also be affected.

The corporation’s 39 BBC Introducing shows, a scheme to support up-and-coming musical talent, will also be cut to 20 but with extra timeslots to ensure a broad range of music can still be played. The ‘Introducing’ platform has helped to launch the careers of artists including George EzraEd Sheeran and Florence + The Machine.

There were fears from a group of music organisations, that BBC Introducing, would be scrapped entirely.

In a letter to BBC’s chairman, Richard Sharp – the likes of Mark Davyd, CEO of the Music Venue Trust, Jon Collins, CEO of LIVE and the CEO of the Association of Independent Music, Silvia Montello – said BBC Introducing plays a “vital role” in supporting new musical talent in the UK.

Music fans also previously greeted the news with dismay, foreseeing potentially harmful consequences for the British music industry. In response, BBC 6 Music broadcaster Tom Robinson launched a campaign in which he encouraged listeners to post messages of support for local BBC Introducing presenters to his blog, in order to raise public awareness of the situation. “It would be devastating if these shows were cancelled. BBC Introducing makes [new music] accessible to listeners who wouldn’t otherwise hear these artists,” read a comment from BBC Introducing Solent listener Jennifer Clark at the time, neatly summarising the sense of community that these shows inspire.

Artists also shared their disappointment at the time. Lewis Whiting, guitarist of Leeds’ English Teacher, said that the continued support they have received from BBC Introducing has been “invaluable,” adding: “It’s the main thing local bands strive for: you can see that, from the past, local BBC Introducing airplay has produced results and made bands’ careers more tangible. It gave us a future.”

Further strikes in May are also being considered, according to the NUJ.

Two “massive” raves kept “half of Sheffield awake” on Saturday

Two “massive” raves reportedly kept residents of Sheffield awake “all night” on Saturday (February 25), according to South Yorkshire Police.

Some residents on social media were reporting music still being heard on Sunday morning at 10am.

South Yorkshire Police Chief Inspector Gareth Thomas told Mixmag: “Throughout the early hours of Sunday 26 February, police received multiple complaints about noise coming from an event at an unknown location in Sheffield.

“We appreciate that this caused significant noise disruption and affected members of the public across a large part of Sheffield. Despite enquiries and searches to seek to locate the source of the noise, officers were unfortunately unable to locate any event.

“Following further investigations since, it is believed that two events had taken place in the Ringinglow and Darnall areas. Investigations are ongoing and we are carrying out work alongside partner agencies to ensure we are able to better respond to any future events of this nature.”

Anyone else in Sheffield woken up but what sounded like a massive rave last night?

Can’t work out where it was.. I’m in Hunters Bar but I’ve seen people in Stannington say they could hear it.

Someone even said it sounded like it was moving around? A rave bus?!!!? pic.twitter.com/efvVHstq5E

— Kat Cowan (@KatherineCowan) February 26, 2023

Multiple people took to social media to express their frustration, including one user who wrote: “Urgh to the all-night rave organisers in Sheffield whose event has kept me awake 3 miles away, I hope a pitchfork wielding mob chuck your stupid sound system in the river.”

BBC Sheffield presenter Kat Cowan said: “Any one else in Sheffield woken up [by] what sounded like a massive rave last night? Can’t work out where it was..I’m in Hunters Bar but I’ve seen people in Stannington say they could hear it.”

Sheffield-based DJ Benny Maths posted on Sunday morning: “Woke at 6am to the distant thrum of bass echoing around Malin Bridge. Smiled at the flood of memories it brought back, then checked socials to find a secret rave’s been going on all night & kept half of Sheffield awake, but nobody can find it to shut it down. It’s still going!”

See more reactions below.

Apparently the only one in #parkhillflats (& #onlyinnetheredge) who slept through the loudest 7hr ‘secret’ rave ‘eva’ in Sheffield city centre. adidas Officially Announces The Harden Vol. 7, Revealing Bright Yellow Colorway

Orchestrating the offense and systematically employing ball screens, James Harden is dishing out a career-best in assists for the Philadelphia 76ers who preside amongst the top three teams in the Eastern Conference standings. And after months of the 10-time All-Star’s previews on social media and dawning titular renditions on a nightly basis against the League’s best, adidas has officially announced the debut of the adidas Harden Vol. 7.

Informed by Harden’s distinct off-the-court fashion throughout the NBA’s tunnels and global Fashion Weeks, the formal introduction to Harden’s seventh signature silhouette with the 3-Stripes brand comes after months filled with previewed colorways while specific tech specs have remained aloof until today.

Blurring the lines between fashion, performance and lifestyle, the Harden Vol. 7 renders the most polarizing composition in his signature series with adi, boasting a knit upper bootie with heavily padded textile quarter panels and a refined toe cap. Exercising a dual-layered heel counter on the back half, underfoot full-length propulsion plates coordinate with a multi-directional herringbone traction pattern for a renovated sole unit ensemble.

Revealed in three debut colorways – “Red Luxury”, “Silver Metallic” and “Yellow” – a jet-black contrast is consistent throughout the introductory slate of offerings, receiving pitch-dark applications to the sock-like tongue construction while a seldom sliver of white peeks through the caged Jet Boost midsole infused with Lightstrike street-luxe materials.

Rooted within the brand’s recently revealed “Remember Your Why” campaign, the adidas Harden Vol. 7 is scheduled to release on March 2nd for a retail price of $160. While we await the pair’s debut, enjoy official images of the adidas Harden Vol. 7 below alongside our accompanying store list.

In other news from the 3-Stripes, check out the brand’s revitalized series of basketball toolings – including the Crazy IIInfinity – that were unveiled at the NBA’s All-Star Weekend.

Nike Repurposes Their Multi-Color Logos For This Upcoming Cortez

Earlier this week, Nike unveiled a multi-color Dunk Low complete with matching logos. And while not quite as bold in its colorway, this upcoming Cortez features many of these graphics, stamping them along both the heel tabs as well as the insoles.

Though relatively standard across its base — clad in a white leather upper and cream midsole — this Nike Cortez features a number of contemporary modifications. The Swooshes, for example, are applied in twos across both the lateral and medial: the outermost dons a textured, quilted texture, while the innermost opts for a chain-stitched outline done up in either pink or purple thread. Elsewhere, the tongues are far taller than that of the original, and incorporates silver metallic details down its instep. Multi-color logos, then, finish the pair via the heel and sockliners.

Enjoy an official look at this Nike Cortez ahead. As of writing this, no firm release date has surfaced; for now, sit tight and await further updates.

LeBron James Injury Timeline Revealed

Without LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers are a team that is fairly lost and confused out on the court. They have struggled without him on the floor, and if they want to make the playoffs, LeBron needs to be out there playing at his best. However, that isn’t exactly how things are going to go, moving forward. This is because, on Sunday night, James hurt his foot while playing against the Dallas Mavericks. Although he was able to finish out the game, he was still in a considerable amount of pain following the match. So much so that he was seen limping in the arena.

At this point in the season, the Lakers only have about 22 games left to play. They need to string together a winning streak, especially since they are only a few games back of sixth place. Unfortunately, doing this will be that much more difficult without LeBron on the court. Overall, the team will now need to rely on its younger guns, as well as Anthony Davis. Davis is someone who is injury prone, and now, the Lakers need to pray that James can come back in time for a late push.

LeBron Has Ways To Go

“LeBron James is expected to miss an indefinite amount of time… I’m told likely at least 2 or 3 weeks” @ShamsCharania with the latest on LeBron’s foot injury #RunItBack pic.twitter.com/nk2BpXx0Cd

— FanDuel TV (@FanDuelTV) February 28, 2023

Earlier today, we reported that LeBron James would be missing an indefinite amount of time. However, he had not been ruled out for the entire season. Now, according to Shams Charania, we have a clearer sense of LeBron’s injury timeline. As he explains, “LeBron James is expected to miss an indefinite amount of time… I’m told likely at least 2 or 3 weeks.” After two weeks, the team will reevaluate him and then make an official decision on what to do.

Overall, Lakers fans can’t do anything except hope for the best. LeBron is someone who has prided himself on his ability to be available. Having said that, there is a very good chance he is able to come back and be successful. Whether or not the Lakers will be out of the playoff picture by then, still remains to be seen. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the basketball world.

Zac Stacy’s BM Defends Him After He’s Sentenced For Domestic Violence Against Her

Kristin Evans wanted to bring attention to Zac Stacy’s abuse, but now, she advocates for him not to be sent to jail. The former St. Louis Rams star went viral after a video showing him throwing Evans into a television and punching her surfaced online. The violent altercation reportedly occurred in their home in front of their then-five-month-old son. The incident happened in 2021, but only recently was it revealed that Stacy received a six-month sentence in jail.

Following the news, Evans took to her Instagram to share thoughts about the scandal. These days, she explains why she would rather have Stacy undergo a different punishment than being incarcerated. “Jail does not offer resources needed for mental health patients. It is not rehabilitative,” Evans wrote in a caption to a video. “The jail and prison system is a punishment in an authoritarian society made to oppress.”

Kristin Evans Explains Her Position

Former NFL RB Zac Stacy has been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, who is the mother of his child.

The home video that was released showed him tossing her like a rag doll while in the presence of his child.

He has not played in the NFL since 2015. pic.twitter.com/caFDhwQnvZ

— John Vogel (@DraftVogel) November 18, 2021

“I didn’t advocate for jail because the lack of resources, the lack of rehabilitation, the lack of education for mental health,” she continued. “And the psychological effect it may have on our son, having already developed a relationship with his father.” It seems Evans believes Stacy is a good father, and she would like to keep that bond intact. “Our son consistently FaceTimed his dad several times a week, he spends the entire weekend every other weekend, and he deserves to have that.”

Evans predicted that a message such as this would earn pushback. “Please give me some grace in understanding that I’m not being easy on Zac, rather I am trying to protect our son from anymore trauma. Nothing is black and white and not every abuser is the same.”

Kristin Wants People To Let Stacy Get Better

In her video, Evans detailed why she decided to release the video of the abuse in the first place. However, she believes that people can get better, and she wants Zac Stacy to be able to do that. “Especially with a diagnosable mental illness and significant head trauma caused by Football,” she added. Stacy hasn’t released a statement about the sentencing.
