New Balance Is Bringing Back The Original 610 Trail Running Shoe

Trail-ready aesthetics have begun to receive a solid resurgence over the latter few years, with this fall season being no exception. Diving back into their heritage-filled archives time and time again, the New Balance 610 has been pulled out for a  long-awaited return a decade in the making.

Originally released in 2012 as the Boston-based cohort’s premium off-road silhouette, the NB 610 returns with its OG tooling while proffering seldom updates and modern-day cushioning technology, infused with ABZORB cushioning throughout its ridged midsole while scrapping the once featured upper string.

Proffering a duo of offerings, the first construction employs a simple tan and black pairing, coating its weather-resistant base layer in the presiding jet-black tone while its reinforced overlays extend the beige tone, coming affixed with a silver “N” logo. The latter build enjoys a muted taupe across its overlays with the layer underneath rendering a dark smoke grey outfit whereas the overall scheme is brightened by inclusion of sky blue and orange hues.

Set to release in Japan on November 11th, enjoy official images of the New Balance 610 while we sit tight on news regarding a stateside release.

Kid Ink Drops New Single, “Mykonos Flow”

2014 was undoubtedly the biggest year of Kid Ink’s career. Eight years ago, he was riding the success of two of his biggest singles, “Show Me” and “Main Chick.” Both of which are collaborations with Chris Brown and show the now 36-year-old’s effortless ability to make fun, party-inspired tracks.

On Friday (December 30), Ink returned to drop off a brand new single, “Mykonos Flow.” The song effectively continues his trend of being an energetic rapper and showing off how to have a good time.

On the track, he flexes all of the perks of his luxurious lifestyle while not leaving out any details. “Perfect timing, tryna be in Greece this summer like Giannis / Put it on God, got everything he promised / I ain’t even flex yet, just bein’ modest / Put you in first class, sittin’ with the finest / Red eye, paid for the ticket with the mileage,” he raps in the second verse.

“Mykonos Flow” serves as Ink’s twelfth single of 2022. His previous one is the Wiz Khalifa-featuring smoker’s anthem, “Big Burna.” He certainly likes to have a good time and rap about his lifestyle, as he continues to showcase this in his most recent songs.

Although he consistently drops plenty of singles, the “Promise” rapper has mostly strayed away from dropping full-length projects over the past few years. However, earlier this year, the L.A. native dropped off the deluxe version of his 2021 album, ALIVE.

Make sure to stream Kid Ink’s “Mykonos Flow” on either Spotify or Apple Music below. Comment your thoughts on the new track afterwards. Finally, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest music releases.

Quotable Lyrics:

Mykonos flow, outside on a boat
Got the season with the waves, seaside with your h*e
Beast out on the record, I’m the man where I go
No plan, just know I bring sand where I go

Kanye West Inspires Nazi Merch Being Sold Online

Kanye West’s recent antisemitic behavior has inspired a line of Nazi merch available online promoting his 2024 presidential campaign. While not officially affiliated with the rapper, the designs feature his campaign logo alongside swastikas and more.

The shirts, which were shared on social media by the Anti-Defamation League, come after West praised Adolf Hitler on InfoWars.

In its tweet sharing images of the merch, the ADL writes: “Disturbed to see sites selling swastika-themed merch in support of Ye’s presidential bid. Some of the symbols appear to have originated among white supremacist trolls on 4chan in Nov & have since been incorporated into merch by online sellers, including print-on-demand platforms.”

“It doesn’t matter whether the sellers of this merch are trying to make a buck or to spread hatred. Reputable platforms have a responsibility to put a stop to it. Kudos to those who already have,” they concluded.

Kanye previously tweeted an image of a swastika inside a Star of David. In response, Elon Musk banned him from the site.

In addition to the controversial merch, West recently topped Simon Wiesenthal Center’s (SWC) Global Antisemitism List. The organization cited “his continued anti-Semitic comments and leveraging his immense social media platform to weaponize hate, bigotry, and ignorance.”

The merch isn’t the first time that West’s actions have inspired further antisemitism. Earlier this month, an attacker used Ye’s name in a hate crime on an elderly Jewish man in New York City’s Central Park. The assailant reportedly yelled out “Kanye 2024” during the attack. Additionally, an antisemitic protest in Los Angeles back in October also featured signs reading, “Kanye is right about the Jews.”

Check out the Nazi-inspired merch for Kanye West below.

PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, And Other OVO Signees’ Albums Disappear From Streaming

Something’s going on at OVO Sound. Albums from PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, dvsn, and Roy Woods vanished from streaming services this week for no known reason as of yet. When fans noticed, they flooded social media sites like Twitter with questions and concerns over the missing projects.

Another artist affected by this sudden pull was dvsn, although their projects are available on streaming as of writing this article. However, their album A Muse In Her Feelings isn’t available, so there’s some odd inconsistency. Meanwhile, PartyNextDoor’s output is almost completely gone, including his albums PartyNextDoor 2 and 3. Similarly, all of Majid Jordan’s albums disappeared as well. While he’s a more underrated name, Roy Woods also lost his discography on streaming to fans’ dismay.

Furthermore, the common thread tying these artists together is their label: OVO Sound. Drake signed all artists some years ago, and while Party and Roy Woods haven’t dropped in a while, dvsn just released Working On My Karma this year. Also, Majid Jordan dropped Wildest Dreams last year.

As such, many fans are furious at the disappearance, blaming either the streaming services, the label, or Drizzy himself. Maybe a new OVO-exclusive streaming service? While it’s unclear what’s exactly happening with these albums, the label connection warrants an explanation. Some even directed blame at the artists themselves.

“PARTYNEXTDOOR just removed PND. PND2 and PND3 from all platforms….” one user tweeted. “@partynextdoor you better goddamn EXPLAIN YOURSELF BECAUSE WHY?!!” While his albums are gone, features like Diddy’s recent “Sex In The Porsche” are still available.

Another fan tweeted, “@AppleMusic ya’ll have 24 hrs to put them partynextdoor albums back up or i will be making some phone calls.” Of all the reactions, anger at the services has been the most common. “PUT PARTYNEXTDOOR BACK ON APPLE MUSIC OR IM AIRING APPLE HEADQUARTERS OUT,” another user wrote.

However, many raised eyebrows at OVO. “So there’s no PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan or DVSN on Apple Music,” a user tweeted. “But every other artist completely fine. did OVO pull the plug on them or what??”

What do you think happened with these OVO discographies on streaming? Let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on this mystery.

The Jordan Granville Pro Indulges In A “Cool Grey” Composition

While still residing in its infancy, this past summer’s debut of the Jordan Granville Pro expanded upon both Jordan Brand’s collection of technically tooled silhouettes and concurrent lifestyle-centric roster. Save its most recent clad-brown composition, the latest colorway continues the model’s exploration of neutral shades with seldom “Cool Grey” embellishments.

Harkening the composition of Nike running propositions from the 70s, the upper proffers a myriad of textiles including its upper’s ever-so-light baby blue grid-layered panel, tongue construction and crisp white mesh heel collar for a diverse outfit. Curing its protective suede mudguard and quarter overlays in a monochrome “Cool Grey”, the medial side of the silhouette lies in stark contrast to its outer counterpart’s bright white ensemble through jet-black mesh detailing and matching rubberized heel counter. Affixing the 23 Engineered model with a jewel Swoosh and full-length Formula 23 foam cushioning system underfoot, enlarged triangular lugs enjoy a black to light grey color blocking along the waffle-inspired tread.

Enjoy official images of the Jordan Granville Pro “Cool Grey” while we sit tight on a potential Spring 2023 release date.

In other news from underneath the Jumpman banner, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is rumored to be making a return in 2023.
