Virgil Abloh, from Off-White to Louis Vuitton, has walked side-by-side with the Air Force 1 throughout his career, selecting Bruce Kilgore’s beloved creation for many a different project. And after facilitating the conversation between the aforementioned luxury house and Nike, the late designer is leaving one last mark on the shoe.

Following not long after the official reveal of its black colorway, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid has further surfaced in its alternate white make-up. Similar to its darker counterpart, this pair draws cues from the Zoom Terra Kiger 5, as track spikes partially adorn the outsole. Secondary lace units, zip-ties, and the like are present as well, adding familiar elements alongside a series of experimental additions, such as the morphed, almost melted midsole and graffiti-styled branding.

Thanks to the likes of Virgil Abloh, A Ma Maniere, and Union LA, 2022 has quickly become the year of the Air Jordan 2. And to further celebrate the silhouette’s return, Jordan Brand has enlisted the help of Maison Château Rouge, who proved their mettle with a pair of “FEARLESS ONES” back in 2019.

Fast forward three years and the Paris-based outfit is crafting their own version of MJ’s second signature. And to appropriately pay homage, they’ve dressed the insoles with the athlete’s very image, depicting him both up close and mid-air next to “UNITED YOUTH INTERNATIONAL” markings. Along the exterior, the shoe exhibits Maison Château Rouge’s penchant for playful textures, as brogue-styled trims wrap the side adjacent to squiggle-covered paneling. Yellow and orange accents, then, run throughout the shoe, with the bolder warm tone specifically highlighting the co-branded heel, the contrasting stitching, and the dotted line along the laces.

Drake is one of the most eager hoopers in the hip-hop world. He is very rich and loves the competition, so it should come as no surprise that he would create his very own organization called the Sanctuary Basketball League. Drake has his very own team in this league, and this year, they won it all on his home court at his mansion in Toronto.

As you can see in the video below, Drake was absolutely pumped to win especially since he scored the game-winning basket. It was a huge moment for Drake who was playing alongside some of his best friends in Chubbs and OVO Mark.

Following Drake’s big triumph, TMZ caught up with Lil Durk, who is also known for being great at basketball. When asked about Drake’s win, Durk said that he respects Drake for creating his own league and that he would be interested in doing something similar. Eventually, Durk proclaimed to be the best hooper in the hip-hop world and that if he were to go toe-to-toe with Drake, he would most certainly come away with the W.

Durk has been praised by various basketball observers, including none other than LeBron James. On The Shop, LeBron proclaimed that Durk had a canon of a shot and that he could hoop with the best of them.

Perhaps next year, Durk should sign up for the SBL and give Drake a real run for his money.

Shaq is one of the most dominant figures to ever grace the NBA. During his prime, Shaq was pretty well unstoppable, and had his prime lasted just a little bit longer, there would be an argument for him to be a top-three player in NBA history. Having said that, if there is anyone capable enough to speak on today’s era of NBA basketball, it would most certainly be him.

As many have come to realize, Shaq is very critical of this generation as he believes they are pretty soft. When it comes to big men like Dwight Howard and Rudy Gobert, Shaq has been less than complimentary, and that won’t be changing anytime soon.

In a recent interview with Complex, Shaq spoke about the way big-men play defense these days and how it doesn’t even compare to his own generation. He also noted that the three-point game has rendered some big-men way too soft as they aren’t focused on defending as much.

“Most of these big guys they have now are powder puffs,” Shaq said matter-of-factly. “They want to shoot jumpers.”

Unless the game gets a lot more aggressive, Shaq will probably continue with these critiques. Of course, it makes for good TV and in the eyes of TNT, Shaq should never change.

Tory Lanez is currently in the midst of a very ugly court case with Megan Thee Stallion. As many already know, Lanez is being accused of shooting Meg in the foot during an incident that took place in the Summer of 2020. Tory has maintained his innocence throughout the process, and on September 14th, the trial will officially begin. As for Meg, she believes Tory should be put “under the jail” and that anything less wouldn’t be justice.

Despite all of this, Tory has continued to go strong with his music career as he has released a plethora of projects and singles. In fact, Tory is gearing up for a big release this Friday, and as you can see in the song title, he is going in direct opposition to Meg’s track “Hot Girl Summer.”

In the tweet below, Tory reveals that the new song will be called “City Boy Summer” and it will be released this Friday, June 17th. As Tory explained, this track will be coming with a music video, which should definitely excite fans.

Lanez has been known for going hard in the summer, so expect plenty more releases over the coming weeks. As to whether or not we will be getting rap Tory or singing Tory, still remains to be seen.
