The dating life of Lori Harvey is no stranger to the front pages of various blogs. Following her split from her long-term beau Michael B. Jordan earlier this year, the model has been enjoying the single-girl lifestyle. However, recent reports have linked her to another Hollywood heartthrob, and the gossip has the internet boldly speaking their minds.

According to Media Take Out, the 25-year-old has been surprisingly romantically tied to Snowfall actor Damson Idris as of late. Other past suitors said to have been spending time with her include Jack Harlow as well as Creed 3 actor Jonathan Majors.

While this is all just gossip and speculation (for now), the outlet didn’t stop there. In another spilling of juicy tea, they revealed that Harvey reportedly makes the men she dates sign an “air-tight” NDA with some serious financial consequences if broken.

“Lori makes [all the men] sign an NDA to make sure that whatever they talk about is personal and confidential,” a friend of the Memphis beauty’s unquestionably dished. The document specifically prohibits signees from sharing any photos or messages exchanged between them.

Additionally, it bans “saving any screen captures of their discussions or communications, including any video conferences.” Meanwhile, the cost of breaking the rules? Obviously a small penalty of a million dollars.

The same friend later says that the Los Angeles law firm previously responsible for Drake’s infamous NDAs wrote Harvey’s for her.

As expected, the gossip has Twitter users going accordingly feral. “If Lori Harvey is dating Damson I’m going to scream and throw up. Get away from him,” one particularly dramatic user wrote. Another added, “My goodness, she really don’t miss.”

“I could care less about Lori having NDAs. Is she really messing with Damson???? I need answers quickly,” someone else conversely joked.

When Michael Jordan won his very first NBA title back in 1991, he was wearing the Air Jordan 6. This immediately became an iconic shoe for Jordan, who eventually went on to win six championships. His career was certainly iconic, and his shoes were able to embrace that history.

Overall, the Jordan 6 is just a nice, sleak shoe. Additionally, it celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021, which led to some truly amazing colorways. Now, the shoe is 31 going on 32, and Jordan Brand is still promising more heat. Needless to say, it is a good time to be a fan of this silhouette.

Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey”

One of the many Air Jordan 6 colorways that is on the way is this “Cool Grey” model. This is one of the many Jumpman shoes that was officially unveiled today. It will be part of the Spring 2023 range for Jordan Brand, and as you can see, it is a neutral yet exciting shoe.

Firstly, you can see that the base of the shoe is grey. From the toe box to the side panels to the midsole and even the tongue, we get a nice shade of grey. Secondly, the overlays here are all white. This leads to a nice contrasting tone that brings the entire sneaker together.

Overall, you really cannot go wrong here. While the shoe isn’t extremely loud, it definitely has its place. This is a model that will get the job done for a lot of people, and we can’t wait to see more of it.

SZA says she’s tired of being described as an “R&B artist,” explaining that she feels the label is “super disrespectful.” The SOS singer discussed her reasoning during a new cover story for Consequence.

“I’m so tired of being pegged as [an] R&B artist,” SZA admitted. “I feel like that’s super disrespectful, because people are just like, ‘Oh, ’cause you’re Black, this is what you have to be’ — like, put in a box. And I hate that. With songs on this album, it’s supposed to help round out the picture and the story.”

She continued: “It’s very lazy to just throw me in the box of R&B. I love making Black music, period. Something that is just full of energy. Black music doesn’t have to just be R&B. We started rock ‘n’ roll. Why can’t we just be expansive and not reductive?”

SZA isn’t the only artist to complain about the categorization of R&B music as of late. Lizzo also recently labeled the existence of genres as being “racist inherently.”

“Genre’s racist inherently,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “I think if people did any research they would see that there was race music and then there was pop music. And race music was their way of segregating Black artists from being mainstream, because they didn’t want their kids listening to music created by Black and brown people because they said it was demonic and yada, yada, yada. So then there were these genres created almost like code words: R&B, and then of course eventually hip-hop and rap was born from that. I think when you think about pop, you think about MTV in the ’80s talking about ‘We can’t play rap music’ or ‘We can’t put this person on our platform because we’re thinking about what people in the middle of America think’ — and we all know what that’s code for.”

SZA’s comments come after the release of her highly-anticipated second studio album, SOS. Elsewhere in the chat with Consequence, SZA reflected on the anxiety she suffered during the build-up to the new album. She also spoke about the music industry more broadly and her desire to “disappear” from it.

Snoop Dogg says that he used to write his lyrics on a typewriter. Snoop recalled his strange method of writing during a recent appearance on The 85 South Comedy Show.

As for how the habit started, he explained he would initially borrow the typewriter from 2Scoops of the G-funk group, The Dove Shack.

“Them the little homies,” Snoop said of the group. “2Scoops that was in the group, when I first started writing raps I used to use that n***a typewriter… I was writing on paper cuz and I would lose my shit and this n***a typewriter was organized. This n***a had paper organized and shit so I was like, ‘I’m just gonna type my shit up’ and I used to type like 65 words a minute, n***a.”

He continued: “It was a skill I took up at a little white junior high school I went to. They gave a n***a typing classes and I took it. I was one of them students that I took a wood class, a metal class, I took typing, I took home economics. I took classes that was like different.”

Later in the interview, Snoop spoke about his relationship with 2Pac. Snoop says he credits him with helping develop his “Pimp” image.

“He dressed me up in suits, Louis Vuitton, Gucci — shit I couldn’t even spell or pronounce! All this Italian shit,” Snoop explained.

Snoop’s appearance on the show comes following the release of Mount Westmore’s latest album, Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort. The group is composed of Too $hort, E-40, and Ice Cube, in addition to Snoop Dogg.

DaBaby’s downfall continues. The rapper – who was among the most popular in the world in 2020 – has been in the news for controversial reasons since last year.

According to a report from TMZ, the “BOP” rapper is now being sued for stealing the beat to one of his most popular songs, “ROCKSTAR” featuring Roddy Ricch.

The producer filing the lawsuit, JuJu Beatz claims that he sent a “musical composition” to DaBaby’s team a few years back. Part of it was later sampled by the 30-year-old illegally and without his permission.

Additionally, the creative claims the rapper and his camp accessed the digital file over 40 times from late 2019 to early 2020.

Beatz is suing for damages, as the rapper is seemingly refusing to cooperate outside of court.

“ROCKSTAR” currently has over one billion streams on Spotify since its release. The up-and-coming hitmaker says he hasn’t earned any money for his allegedly stolen beat.

As we mentioned earlier, controversy has been running rampant in the “Babysitter” artist’s life for some time now. In the summer of 2021, the Cleveland native received backlash for some out-of-pocket comments he made while on stage at Rolling Loud.

In a hate-filled rant seemingly towards the LGBTQ+ community, he singled out AIDS victims. “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said to the crowd.

Gay men were the target of his next remark. “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up,” DaBaby continued.

Consequently, a number of festivals including Lollapalooza went forward with removing the KIRK rapper from their lineups.

Meeting with several organizations and a since-deleted public apology led to an LGBTQ+ foundation, Relationship Unleased, forgiving the rapper.

CEO Gwendolyn D. Clemons said they felt as though the GRAMMY-nominated rapper had learned why his comments were harmful.

After escaping that scandal (not without consequences, however), he’s now caught up in the “ROCKSTAR” lawsuit.

Angelo Badalamenti, whose compositions considerably shaped the mood of David Lynch films and series including Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, has died at the age of 85.

Badalamenti’s death was confirmed by multiple relatives of the famed composer, with his niece Frances Badalamenti telling The Hollywood Reporter he died of natural causes on Sunday (December 11) surrounded by family, at his home in New Jersey.

Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1937, Badalamenti began taking piano lessons at a young age, and received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. His early film scoring work included writing music for 1973’s Gordon’s War and 1974’s Law And Disorder, but his major break came when he composed the score and supervised the soundtrack for David Lynch’s 1986 film Blue Velvet.

The film was the first in a career spent collaborating with Lynch on various other projects, along with frequent Lynch collaborator, singer Julee Cruise. Badalamenti is perhaps best known for working with Lynch on Twin Peaks (and the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me), helping define the surreal, otherworldly feel of the mystery series.

While working on the series’ score, Lynch would often describe to Badalamenti the moods and feelings he wanted to create. The series’ signature theme, the ‘Love Theme From Twin Peaks’, was written in 20 minutes, with Lynch telling Badalamenti: “You just wrote 75 per cent of the score. It’s the mood of the whole piece. It is Twin Peaks.”

In 1991, Badalamenti won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for the Twin Peaks theme. He would go on to score Twin Peaks‘ 2017 revival, featuring new compositions and material from the original series.

Other collaborations with Lynch included 1990’s Wild At Heart, 1997’s Lost Highway, 1999’s The Straight Story and 2001’s Mulholland Drive. He made small appearances onscreen in a handful of the Lynch films he worked on, including Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.

Outside of his work with Lynch, Badalamenti also worked on the soundtracks for films such as A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and The Wicker Man, and collaborated with a range of other musicians. Artists he worked with over the years include David Bowie, Marianne Faithfull, James‘ Tim Booth, Orbital, The Cranberries‘ Dolores O’Riordan, Pet Shop Boys and Anthrax.

“Tonight I will raise my glass to my beautiful friend, the Bad Angel, Angelo Badalamenti,” Booth wrote on Twitter, remembering his collaborator. “He taught me many things but primarily how to enjoy the recording process. We laughed from the beginning to the end of the record we made together, never had a disagreement. I love him.”
