Creed III is just days away. Slated to release in theaters on March 3, the movie’s recent developments have all been promising. Along with hinting at a continued “Creedverse” for more movies, the film’s star Micheal B. Jordan’s currently on quite a press run. At the movie’s premiere, Michael B. partook in a petty conversation with a reporter who used to call him corny in high school. After that delivered headlines on its own, Jordan then took part in a racy photoshoot for Calvin Klein. You know what they say, all press is good press.
With all this going on, though, one of the most intriguing storylines for Creed III is its soundtrack. Tasked to craft original songs for the movie, J. Cole’s Dreamville label delivered two promotional singles already. The first of these singles was “Ma Boy,” performed by Lute and JID. Next came “Blood, Sweat & Tears.” Released on Feb. 22, the song features Dreamville’s Bas along with Kel-P and Black Sherif. The two latter artists are Nigerian and Ghanian, respectively. Over the Afrobeat-inspired track, the trio deliver strong verses and smooth harmonies. And, in a new video released by Dreamville, the movie’s star actor and director seems to agree.
On Wednesday (March 1), Dreamville posted a clip of behind-the-scenes footage in the studio. Joined by Michael B. Jordan, Bas plays a portion of “Blood, Sweat & Tears.” Clearly enjoying what he is hearing, Jordan interjects with some positive comments. “It’s giving, like, end credit vibes too, you know what I’m sayin’? It’s hard,” he said. He later added how African themes influenced the third act of the Creed III movie. It seems that the Bas track will be a perfect inclusion in the film in this case, considering two African artists worked with Bas on the song.
Earlier this week, Dreamville announced that their annual Dreamville Fest takes place on April 1 & 2. With J. Cole, Drake, Usher, JID, Summer Walker, GloRilla, and more slated to perform, it could be the best festival they’ve hosted to date. Bas is set to perform on Sunday (April 2) at the fest, as he could likely already have an album out by then. Either way, it seems that Bas, Michael B. Jordan, and Dreamville are all peaking at the same time.

It was a close call for Safaree Samuels after the reality star claimed he nearly lost his life. Samuels is known for taking to social media with antics and controversy; however, he gave a more sobering display on his Instagram Story. The father of two shared a harrowing tale of surviving a shooting that almost killed him. In a video, Samuels also showed off the hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the ground.
“I almost got shot in my head by a stray bullet!!” the rapper penned. “I was inches away from where the bullet holes came from!! This is why I can’t f*cking stand Atlanta!!!!! THANK GOD OMG!! That’s why I don’t feel sorry for you criminals!!” In another slide, Samuels displayed an up close and personal look at the bullet fragment.

This isn’t Safaree’s first run-in with violence. In 2018, he was returning home when two masked men rushed and roughed him up during an armed robbery.
He spoke about it during an interview with Angie Martinez not long after. “I just got robbed at gunpoint. A couple hours ago. Two dudes with guns just ran up on me. Had me face down to the floor with a gun to my head. They just took everything.” An investigation revealed that at least one of the suspects was a childhood friend. In February 2022, The gunman in the case learned his fate. Tacuma Ashman, 43, was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Further, he must serve 25 before becoming eligible for parole.
Samuels took to Twitter to call the incident “probably 1 of the worst scariest nights of my life.” It also may be why he doesn’t hold any sympathy for those on the wrong side of the law. Meanwhile, fans have been reacting to this in awe. Check it out above.

Things recently got a little heated between Chris Brown and an unknown man. The singer has been overseas, taking from one stage to the next as he entertains hoards of fans. The responses have been overwhelmingly positive, and it looked like Brown was having the time of his life. However, a brief clip of the singer appeared online, and it seemed he was arguing with someone at a nightclub.
A clip showed Brown at the club with his entourage. It is unclear how the confrontation began, but Breezy yelled at the man as his team attempted to calm him down. The singer’s target can’t be seen, at least not from the front. Only the back of the person’s head floats through the video, and while it was a brief interaction, Brown dropped off a message.

Whatever occurred, it got Brown fired up. Not only inside the club, but on the internet with a bit of Thumb Thuggin’. “You know you tucked your tail,” he wrote. Apparently, Brown was ready to continue the confrontation away from the loud music and adoring fans. “You was scared to come outside. You would’ve been doing TIK TOKs from a hospital bed. Weird ass n*gga.”
This has been quite a season for Brown, as he’s defended himself against critics. He recently unleashed on Instagram after his collaboration with Chlöe received pushback. People brought up his domestic violence past, and Brown questioned why they were concerned with something he did as a teen. He didn’t excuse the behavior but was frustrated with people who refused to see his growth. However, his detractors were unmoved.
The singer’s name was also brought up during Tommie Lee’s debacle that unraveled on social media. She was reportedly backstage at Brown’s London concert when she was said to have seen his son, Aeko. Ammika Harris, Aeko’s mother, allegedly closed the door in Lee’s face to protect her child. According to Natalie Nunn, Lee became angry and tried to break the door down. Legislation has advanced that could lead to US President Joe Biden implementing a nationwide ban on TikTok.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee’s 24 Republicans voted a bill through which could give the President powers to ban the video-sharing app over claims that it is a Chinese espionage tool, or any other app deemed a security risk.
However, the 16 Democrats voted against the bill with Ranking Member Gregory Meeks saying he opposed the legislation because it would “damage our allegiances across the globe, bring more companies into China’s sphere, destroy jobs here in the United States and undercut core American values of free speech and free enterprise” [via The Independent].
Members of both parties have called for a ban on TikTok on the basis of its Chinese ownership, which means the company is legally obliged to turn user data over to the Chinese government upon request.
The bill still needs to be passed by the full House of Representatives and the Senate before it goes to Biden and it officially becomes law. Foreign Affairs Committee chair Michael McCaul said he expects the full House to vote on the measure this month.

However, Jenna Leventoff, a senior policy counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union, criticised the legislation in a statement.
“We’re disappointed that the House Foreign Affairs Committee voted to approve a bill that would effectively ban TikTok in the United States, in violation of Americans’ First Amendment rights. We urge legislators to vote no on this vague, overbroad, and unconstitutional bill,” she said.
More than 30 American states, Canada, and the European Union have separately banned the app from use on government-owned devices over concerns it could be a security risk. India banned the app nationwide in January 2021, while Taiwan and Afghanistan did the same in 2022.
In response, a TikTok spokesperson said a ban on the app in the US would be “a ban on the export of American culture and values to the billion people who use our service worldwide”. The company has previously denied accusations that it shares data with the Chinese government and that its data is not held in China. It also disputes accusations that it collects more user data than other social media companies, and insists that it is run independently by its own management.
However, it doesn’t appear that the UK is planning to follow suit at present. “We have no evidence to suggest that there is a necessity to ban people from using TikTok,” the UK’s secretary of state for science, innovation and technology, Michelle Donelan, told Politico. “That would be a very, very forthright move, that would require a significant evidence base to be able to do that.” [via The Guardian]
There has, however, been evidence that TikTok’s algorithm “bombards” teenagers with self-harm content and eating disorder content, according to a study by the Centre for Countering Digital Hate.

Yesterday (February 28), news surfaced that Peter Thomas was charged in connection to a physical altercation. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was hit with a second-degree assault charge following an alleged altercation at his Bar One restaurant in Baltimore. According to the purported victim, Chanel Williams, she was with two friends at the location in March 2022. Williams testified the group was enjoying themselves before they were invited by a woman to join the VIP area. Thomas, who co-owns the establishment, reportedly went to hug Williams, and she believed he was a tad intoxicated.
Things took a turn when Thomas became upset at something. Williams additionally claimed he turned his fury on her, grabbed her by the neck, and squeezed for approximately 30 seconds. That evening, Williams called the police and, the next day, filed a report against Thomas. Williams’s friend, Cierra Dunlap, told the court she went to dinner with Thomas and had sex with him once. Dunlap also alleged he sent her $2,500.

We’re sure Thomas is somewhere celebrating, as it was reported he was found not guilty of the assault. During the hearing, Thomas claimed he wasn’t intoxicated, and Williams was “hysterical.” He denied choking Williams, insisting he “eased her off” of him, causing her to fall back into a chair. Despite his version of events, Tammy Rivera has spoken up because Williams is reportedly her niece.
In a video, Rivera claimed she received several DMs from people asking about Williams. She said she’s kept silent out of privacy for her niece but “doesn’t play when it comes to [her] family.” Rivera also added, “The moral of the story is, my niece didn’t want me to help her. She didn’t want me involved. She didn’t want me to help her with the lawyer, the case, anything.”
Rivera further stated Williams was given a State’s attorney while Thomas hired a high-profile lawyer. “That’s what happened. He put his hands on her. He choked her. She called me outside the restaurant crying hysterically. My niece is not loud, she’s not ghetto, she does not be in no mess. That’s not her world. For her to even call me like that and say that someone—everybody in the club saw it.”

Tommy Fury’s father, John Fury, claims that Jake Paul owes him $2 million following his son’s victory over the YouTuber in their recent fight. John explained the situation in a video shared to social media, this week. He says that the two had a gentleman’s agreement that the losing party would forfeit their earnings from the fight to the other party. John admitted that there is probably not much legal action he can take to get the money from Paul, but he insisted the loser do the right thing.
“Good morning world, Jake Paul and family,” John Fury began the video. “Back home, well rested, heads back on business. Jake, you know what I’m going to do, we had a deal mate, we had a handshake. We said we’d box for free if we got defeated.” From there, he asks him to step up and pay his bill. “Please do not come out with all the contract bullshit,” he adds. “I can hardly read and write.”

Tommy defeated Paul by a split decision (74-75, 76-73, 76-73) back on February 26. The fight marked the first loss for Paul in his boxing career. Tommy continued his undefeated streak, advancing to 9-0. After the fight, Tommy remarked that the win solidified his place as his own fighter absent of his brother, Tyson Fury.

Turning down deals with Republic Records, Interscope Records, and Caroline, the rapper has proved that he is more than adequate at being able to handle his business in the industry. However, NLE did sign an independent distribution deal with UnitedMasters with the rights to his masters and publishing. Lately, NLE has been up to more than just making aggressive lyrical flows. Implementing a new healthy routine into his life, NLE says, “To Be A Champion You Have To Start Your Day Like One.” Recently making videos of his healing remedies on TikTok and Instagram, fans get to see inside how he stays his spirited self.
Starting his day off with morning meditation, NLE spends time in the sun to resonate with his surroundings and ground his aura. He uses an amethyst crystal, used for serenity and manifesting calm emotions, to clear his space. Being that NLE is a water sign in the astrological world, as he’s a Scorpio, NLE says he keeps his crystal in a seashell to bring it closer to its abilities.
Next, NLE uses sage to remove any negative energy around him and his surroundings. Sage is used to enhance cognitivity and protect the body against unwanted energies. He lights it, pointing up, of course, to keep its positivity, and proceeds to let its aroma and smoke envelope his body to release its tension and balance his mind.
After NLE clears his energy, he makes a homemade pot of lemon and ginger tea. Filling the pot up halfway with water, he infuses it over the stove with lemon and ginger slices. This type of tea reduces the intake of toxins in the body, protects the body from inflammation, helps digestion, congestion and serves as a very tasty ritual to include in his healthy lifestyle. For reference, the tea should come to a full boil, then reduce the heat to let the lemons and ginger infuse their flavor for at least 15 minutes. This also allows the organic qualities of the tea to take root when you drink it.
NLE also makes sure to keep a strict vegan diet, only eating fruits and vegetables. For breakfast, he makes a hearty smoothie with strawberries and blueberries. Eating fruits like grapefruit and plant-based products to increase physical energy, he is then able to work out by lifting weights and running.
He also takes good care of his appearance by keeping his skin hydrated with facial products and clay masks. NLE says he may hate the struggle, but it’s essentially made him “harder.” This is no surprise, as the healthy routine he uses includes rigorous practices that take patience, time, and dedication to not only begin, but keep them as an everyday habit to increase the quality of your health.

Though NLE has changed his lifestyle, the journey to this new road wasn’t easy. In 2022 he and ex-girlfriend, Marissa Da’Nae, announced that their son, Seven had passed away due a miscarriage. This could very well have influenced his decision to become more balanced and spiritual.
After the passing of their son, NLE took to the studio to transform his pain into devotion by writing song, “The Gender Reveal Song,” where he raps about how he would have cared for his son or daughter. Singing, “Love her or love him, every decision is made for them. God should be the only one you put above them. When you hold them in your hand, I swear you can’t unlove them.” Though he and the mother of Seven are no longer together, NLE has shown Marissa his support through their grieving process.
As for his latest release, “Do It Again” featuring 2Rare, his hard delivery is embodied impeccably. As he continues to stay healthy with his meditative practices, fans should anticipate a stronger, focused, and leveled up NLE, as the benefits of his new lifestyle are very powerful and positive.
During the latest airing of The Joe Budden Podcast, the show’s forerunner shared his frustrations with actor-director Michael B. Jordan. This follows the Creed III star’s latest appearance on the red carpet, where he ran into alleged frenemy, radio host Lore’l. Jordan and Lore’l attended school together in Newark, New Jersey, which was confirmed by the two during their chance meeting last week. Once the podcaster brought up their Chad Science Academy alma mater, the actor goes on to question her about calling him corny in a 2021 chat. Now, Budden is going viral for his opinions on the exchange, which was a topic of discussion on his popular show.
After the mention of Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut, Joe Budden proceeds to discuss his and Lore’l’s awkward run-in. “Boy did he a have a fully automatic of zest… He looked at a girl like ‘Now look at where we are,’” Joe begins. The podcaster then calls him a “corny a** n***a” before doubling down on the statement. “You being Michael B. Jordan today—allegedly ‘Sexiest Man Alive’… You[‘ve] probably never been more visible than you are right this second, and that’s what you do to her. And if I bring back those White girl rumors, then it’s gonna sound even crazier, ‘cause why are you talking to our sisters like that on the red carpet?” The latter part of his statement is in reference to Jordan’s rumored preference for dating White women. Host Melyssa Ford chimed in, remembering how Michael B. According to L’orel, she wasn’t the one who called him corny in the first place. In a new clip, the lead host of The Undressing Room Podcast confirms that is was actually her co-host, personality Dominique Da Diva, who made the choice words. While discussing Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey’s past, Dominque said “You know what I really think deep down inside? I think that Michael B. Jordan is a nice, corny guy, and I don’t mean that as a slight,” Dominique said. “We all know the nice, corny guys treat you the best.”
