As the New Balance 550 continues to enjoy time in the spotlight, the decades-old design is set to return in classic “Black/White” on November 1st.
Previously seen (even with a Comme des Garçons co-sign), the two-tone colorway is a fan-favorite amongst savvy and casual consumers alike, especially when considering the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” craze. Smooth leather takes over most of the sneaker’s upper, with mesh peeking out around the heel. Both “N” and “550” logos on the lateral profile boast contrasting “White” trims, breaking up the otherwise uniform arrangement up-top. Accents on the tongue and across the spine also indulge in the contrasting tone, with sole units straight from 1989 rounding out New Balance‘s old school design in a classic “Black” and “White” combination.

Compared to that of the 550 or the 2002R, the New Balance 920‘s releases are few and far between. But as we embark on the last two months of the year, we’re finally seeing another colorway from the MADE in UK silhouette.
Similar to many a previous release, this upcoming 920 features a straightforward color blocking. Kelly green outfits much of the shoe, from its mesh inserts to its various leather overlays. The laces and tongue, too, are dyed the same, while the “N” logo, embroidered branding, and adjacent trims opt for a dark grey. White and black neutrals then round out the palette by way of the midsole and outsole, respectively.
For a closer look at this forthcoming New Balance 920, check out the official images below. At the time of writing this, a release date has not yet been revealed. For now, sit tight and await future updates.
