Teddy Santis can do no wrong. As frontman of both Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance‘s Made In USA program, the Queens-native has been packaging his idea of “cool” for nearly a decade, with his latest proposition arriving in the form of a 990v2 for the latter project.

Breathable mesh and premium pig suede materials reprise their roles across the sneaker’s upper, with the former indulging in an eye-catching light blue tone. Hairy components overlaid atop the porous counterpart from toe to heel deviate in either a cool grey or dark navy, with the deep blue making up the majority of the New Balance 990v2‘s top-half. Reflective detailing arrives via the profile and spine branding, while an off-white finish takes over the ABZORB cushioning system underfoot.

Enjoy product imagery of the pair ahead, as you wait for a NewBalance.com launch on Thursday, August 25th, for $195 USD.
