Gwen Stefani is celebrating one year since Blake Shelton proposed to the pop-rock star in Oklahoma on Oct. 17 of last year. Stefani took to Instagram to share private photos and videos of the proposal with her followers and friends.
The first video is an announcement of the engagement and it perfectly captures the superstar couple’s goofy relationship, with Shelton dancing behind Stefani as Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration” plays in the background. “Look! We just got engaged!” professes Stefani while holding up her ring (which is pictured in the third photo).
The second photo in the post sees Shelton and Stefani, both kneeling, while the “Hollaback Girl” singer holds her smiling, teary face in her hands.
Stefani had previously shared just one photo from the engagement back in 2020 of the couple in a loving embrace and kiss. Stefani is holding up her left hand to reveal the shiny ring on her finger. “@blakeshelton yes please!” reads the caption. The couple married earlier this July in an intimate wedding in Oklahoma.
