Prime Social Group president and co-founder Adam Lynn was selected by global investment banking firm Goldman Sachs for its 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2021 honors during its Builders + Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, Calif.

Lynn, who has made his mark on the music business through the innovative Breakaway Music Festival series, received the honors after weathering the pandemic and bringing back Breakaway to record demand. The indie dance and hip hop multi-city festival series concluded on Oct. 2 tat the Charlotte Motor Speedway with headliners Martin Garrix, G-Eazy, the Chainsmokers and more than a dozen additional artists.

Breakaway Music Festival’s return has been met with a strong fan response, pushing ticket sales up 23% over 2019 for Breakaway’s Columbus, Ohio festival at the Historic Crew Stadium, Sept 2-3 and up more than 37% in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Belknap Park on Aug. 27-28.

Since co-founding Prime Social with Zach Ruben in 2011, Lynn has dominated the heartland festival space and is the fastest-growing full-scale production and promotions company in the US , producing over 1200 events and more than 40 music festivals with more than 200,000 tickets, around the world, since its inception. Besides its festival business, Lynn also oversees an artist management division with offices in Nashville, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.

Kid Quill and NBA superstar Andre Drummond were among the first acts signed to Prime Artists, the latest venture under the Prime portfolio, which now represents Gashi, Night Tales, and MoonLander.
