Boasting the most lethal step back in the WNBA, it’s only fitting that Arike Ogunbowale is suiting up this season in Nike’s premier on-court tooling that excels under split-second cuts and rapid movement. Dropping 27 points in the Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 during the Dallas Wings season opener, the two-time All-Star will be taking the court this season in a striking bright orange Player Exclusive according to recently surfaced first-look imagery.

Cured almost exclusively in the WNBA’s synonymous orange hue, the React Foam cushioned ensemble decks out the latter shade across everything from the butterfly-inspired upper mesh to the nylon collar lining and tread underfoot. Injecting even more titular grandeur within vibrant neon yellow mid-foot Swoosh and tongue logos, the silhouette’s back half begins to illustrate a deeper connection to the NCAA Champion as her #24 comes illuminated at the spine while the Dallas skyline receives an embossed touch above the appearance of a dual ARIKE x Nike logo.

While it remains to be seen if the colorway will be reserved for the 2021 All-Star MVP exclusively or see a retail release similar to her teammate Satou Sabally’s Air Jordan 37 from last season, in the meantime enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 “Arike Ogunbowale” PE below.

For more on-court toolings, we recently received a look at James Harden’s eighth signature silhouette with the adidas.
