The Nike SB Dunk High has kept a relatively low profile over the last six months, with its shortest counterpart and Nike SB Ishod dominating the spotlight. While the skate-obsessed imprint hasn’t shared any information regarding its plans for the high-top model, the silhouette has recently surfaced in a new black, green and white colorway complete with updated “AIR ZOOM”-branding.

Whether or not the latest Nike Dunk-variant is on its way to retailers, it demonstrates that the Swoosh is consistently reinventing Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design. Hairy suede overlays sit atop a corduroy-reminiscent base that work in-tandem to create a compelling green and black color combination. Profile swooshes and Air Jordan 1-similar sole units contribute to the skate-ready proposition, but they don’t introduce anything new to the storied silhouette. “AIR ZOOM” logos on the sock-liner, however, mark a new era for Nike SB‘s widely-celebrated offering, though the updated typeface may be just that and not an indication that the shoes’ cushioning has also been reworked.

No Nike SNKRS launch information has been disclosed by the brand – if a release is even in the works – but that may change in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy images of the newly-surfaced pair ahead, and anticipate updated “AIR ZOOM”-branding to land on other styles.

For confirmed release dates from the NIKE, Inc. family, check out the Air Jordan 5 “Racer Blue” heading to retailers on February 12th.
