And in addition to providing these rising talents with the tools to succeed — giving out not only scholarships but also constant support throughout their academic careers — the brand has crafted many a sneaker to commemorate the hard work of the graduating class.
Come later this June, Jordan Brand will be honoring the Class of 2023 with a special rendition of the Air Jordan 2. Dressed in a “White/Malachite/Black” colorway, the pair features a look reminiscent of the OG, albeit with a translucent heel piece and hits of green where red would typically be found. What’s more, the side panel is made to resemble a literal pair of wings, its feathers printed in a photorealistic fashion.
