Happy Monday! It’s a new month which means we’ve got you covered on all the new vibes that are bound to drop this November. This week, indulge in a variety of sounds by artists like Baby Tate, Amaal, Femdot., Lil Zay Osama and more. And of course, don’t forget to share the wealth with our Spotify playlist below.

Ama Lou, “Trust Nobody”

After a two-year hiatus, U.K. singer Ama Lou is back with the moody “Trust Nobody.” In the black and white visual, the minimally dressed musician opens up about trust issues, lost love and personal growth over a trap-infused R&B beat. The track serves as a perfect homecoming for Ama, who recites her story with confidence and grace. – NEENA ROUHANI

Amaal, “Too Good”

Somali-Canadian songstress Amaal unveiled her spacey sophomore EP, Milly, featuring seven swoon-worthy tracks. “Too Good” details a failed relationship as Amaal plays the part of the wronged lover who has had enough. “I don’t think you understand/ You’ve already done the damage/ Ain’t no bringing back the magic/ And now you’re caught in your emotions,” she sings atop an ethereal, reverb-filled instrumental. – N.R.

Ivy Sole feat. Topaz Jones, “One More Night”

Equal parts longing and confident, Ivy Sole delivers the sensual “One More Night” alongside Topaz Jones. The Philadelphia-bred singer and rapper pivots between monochromatic rooms, filming her lover as gospel-filled harmonies crescendo in the background. In another scene, Jones shares an ultra-relatable verse, spilling over a forbidden love he just can’t shake. – N.R.

Lil Zay Osama, “Roll Up Hot”

With his ever-so-slightly-off-beat flow, Chicago emcee Lil Zay Osama sets the scene for a night out with “Roll Up Hot.” The 2longmybrudda-produced beat thumps as Osama goes in on competitors and opps for the 2-minute duration of the replay-worthy track. – N.R.

Jequcory Davis feat. Global T, “Ole’ School Songs”

Twista’s “Slow Jamz” got a Detroit twist with “Ole’ School Songs,” performed by Global T.  The track arrives on the Jequcory Davis-curated album Junior Year, featuring 14 artists and producers from the city. T’s lyrics reflect Y2K puppy love songs interspersed with menacing bars solidifying the rising rapper’s multi-faceted sound. – N.R.

Baby Tate, “Pedi”

Baby Tate (fka Yung Baby Tate) is a living testament that good things come in threes. The multitalented Atlanta artist recently changed her name and released the first single “Pedi” under her new deal with Warner Records. A double entendre on being petty and always having freshly painted toes, Tate first teased the single on TikTok and puts her craziness on full display in the song’s music video. “Pedi is not about my body. It is not about me being better than anyone,” she wrote on Twitter. “It is simply about me being crazy as hell.”  – CYDNEY LEE

bLAck pARty feat. Gwen Bunn, “Soakin”

L.A.-via-Arkansas singer — hence his name stylization — bLAck pARty released “Soakin” with Gwen Bunn via Childish Gambino’s label Wolf + Rothstein / RCA Records, as part of his new two-pack EP Birds & Bees. “The groove reminded me of the funk & soul music from classic black exploitation films I love like Superfly and Shaft,” the singer said in a press release. “I had a hook in mind just after the second listen.” – C.L.

Femdot., “Bussin”

Premiering on Colors, Chicago rapper Femdot. showcases his mellow storytelling and lyricism on his new single “Bussin.” The 25 year old has been teasing his upcoming project Not For Sale by posting short snippets of each song on Twitter. – C.L.

Reggie, “Traffic”

Reggie has a knack for analogies. On his new single “Traffic,” the Houston artist likens his life to cars and driving. “Like I’m ’bout to park, I’m going through a lot/ Can’t wait til my doors is suicidal/ Crazy how life literally like a drive/ Wait til you figure out you need gas,” he sings melodically over a feel-good, bass-and-snare-heavy beat. With six singles under his belt — all sporting a different-colored floppy disk as cover art — Reggie has also tweeted that his debut project is on the horizon. – C.L.

Lancey Foux feat. 24kGoldn, “Big Swag”

East London-based artist Lancey Foux teamed up with 24kGoldn for their new single, “Big Swag.” The former fuses his punk attitude with hip-hop for a moody bop about cars, baddies and well, swag. While different, the collaboration also works because of the artists’ shared interests in the rock star lifestyle. – C.L.
