Warner Chappell Music has signed a co-publishing deal with Grammy-nominated artist Jhené Aiko. The deal includes all songs created by Aiko from January 2021 until the deal’s end, this includes already released songs like “In the Dark” by Swae Lee and Aiko, “By Yourself” by Ty Dolla $ign ft. Aiko and Mustard, and more.

Rome Phrey Publishing and Warner Chappell Music (WCM) Nashville have signed a publishing deal with singer/songwriter Elvie Shane. The Wheelhouse Records/BMG artist’s debut single, “My Boy” is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck charts. Shane’s debut full length album, Backslider, is expected out October 29th.

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Ally Brooke has joined a worldwide administration publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music’s (WCM) U.S. Latin division. She is currently readying her first Spanish-language single/video release, “Mi Musica” (Oct. 22), and an upcoming all-Spanish album.

Country duo LOCASH, Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, have extended their global co-publishing agreement with BBR Music Group/BMG’s Wheelhouse Records, represented by Red Light Management.

The duo has also penned hits for other artists including Keith Urban’s “You Gonna Fly,” and Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah.” They are currently on tour, with stops through the end of the year including the Tortuga Music Festival (Fort Lauderdale, FL, on November 14) and the National Finals Rodeo (Las Vegas, NV, on December 3).

Reservoir Media has announced a new exclusive songwriting agreement with Scottish artist and songwriter Emeli Sandé. Known most for her rise to popularity in the United Kingdom with chart-topping singles such as “Heaven,” which peaked at #2 on the U.K. Official Charts in 2011, Sandé’s deal includes her upcoming record and future works.

In 2012, she broke through in the United States with her Platinum-selling single “Next To Me,” which hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart. The single comes from her debut record, Our Version of Events, which hit #28 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified Gold by the RIAA. She has collaborated with a diverse cast of artists throughout her career, having worked with names like David Guetta, Ghetts, Giggs, Labrinth and Naughty Boy.

Sandé is currently working on her upcoming record which is expected to come out in 2022, and released “Family” in September as a teaser.

Warner Chappell Music has signed producer and songwriter Toddla T to a worldwide publishing deal. Best known for his 11-year tenure at BBC Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra, where he hosted weekly shows, he has also seen chart success as a producer.

“A new chapter in the Toddla T Producky book… it’s great to link with Warner Chappell… more shellings to come! UK to the world,” Toddla T said of the new deal.

Toddla T has been behind the boards on singles like the BRIT-nominated “Ain’t It Different” by Headie One, AJ Tracey and Stormzy, which reached #2 on the UK charts. He has also collaborated with artists like Matt Helders from Arctic Monkeys, Benjamin Zephaniah, Roots Manuva and others in his early discography. He has released multiple albums throughout the years while having produced and wrote on records like Stormzy’s Heavy Is The Head.
