LeBron James is a player who will go down as one of if not the greatest to ever do it. With his four NBA titles and countless accolades, LeBron is a truly special player. Additionally, he is on track to pass Kareem for the most points of all-time which is a mark that has yet to be broken since 1982.

Overall, James is someone who needs to be praised and appreciated while he is still here. We don’t have many years left of James’ greatness, and to waste that would be a true shame. Unfortunately, that is what seems to be happening with the Lakers as they have struggled this season.

Sure, the team is on a five-game winning streak. However, they do not have the firepower to contend for a title. There have been all sorts of rumors that James wants the team to be improved. While he himself has tried to separate himself from such reports, there still seems to be this sense that rival teams are preparing themselves.

LeBron On The Move?

In fact, according to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, some GMs are even making preparations for the offseason. If LeBron were to request a trade, some teams need to be properly prepared. Overall, this would mean securing assets that the Lakers would be interested in. Consequently, it could even affect how teams go about drafting.

A LeBron trade would not be good for the Lakers. It would leave them with Anthony Davis, who would subsequently want out. However, James is very powerful and if the Lakers don’t make the playoffs, he could want out.

Circa Waves have postponed four of their forthcoming album launch shows after frontman Kieran Shudall was admitted to hospital.

The Liverpool band were due to hit the road for seven intimate gigs kicking off at Kingston, Pryzm this Thursday (January 12).

They also had further dates booked in Bournemouth (13), Brighton (14) and Totnes (15) but all four dates have now been postponed after Shudall was diagnosed with viral pericarditis.

He wrote: “I was recently admitted to hospital with very unpleasant chest pains and was diagnosed with viral pericarditis which is inflammation around the heart. I’m feeling pretty rough but have been given some strong meds (god bless the NHS).

Further dates at The Crescent in York on February 9, The Cavern in Liverpool (10) and Dundee Beat Generator (11) currently look set to go ahead.

Circa Waves’ fifth studio album, ‘Never Going Under‘, is set to be released this Friday (January 13) on Lower Third/PIAS. They recently shared singles ‘Carry You Home’ and ‘Living In The Grey’, from the record.

Speaking about the record previously, Shudall explained: “‘Never Going Under’ speaks to that uniquely modern phenomenon of genuinely not knowing what type of world our kids are going to find themselves in in 30 years.

“Physically, environmentally, politically we are completely in the unknown. That scares us all but ultimately we know we can never give up on the future because how can you?”

Emily Ratajkowski has criticised Ellen DeGeneres for a “fucked up” interview with Taylor Swift.

The model and author took to social media to comment on a resurfaced clip which sees DeGeneres question Swift about her dating life while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2012.

The talk show host showed Swift photos of men she had reportedly dated, asking her to ring a bell to confirm whether they had officially been involved.

“I don’t want to [do it]. They’ll send me angry emails, and I don’t want to get them,” said the singer in the original interview.

“Stop it, stop it, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself,” she continued. “Every time I come up here, you put a different dude up there on the screen, and it just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being.”

Ratajkowski was among many to criticise the interview in a resurfaced clip circulating on TikTok. “This is so fucked up,” she wrote. “She’s literally begging her to stop.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift recently confirmed she is rehearsing for her ‘Eras’ tour.

Swift confirmed the news on her Instagram story last Thursday (January 5), Billboard reports. The singer said she was “taking a break from tour rehearsal” to tell fans about a 12-hour flash sale of exclusive digital copies of her latest album ‘Midnights’, which included bonus “behind the song” material for four of the album’s tracks.

Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds has teased potential upcoming new music from the band via a post on his Twitter.

Reynolds shared a short seven second clip in the tweet, which appeared to show a computer screen with the words “shikari2023” at the top.

He also wrote: “1,000,000 likes and I’ll leak it”. The band’s official Twitter page then retweeted this, adding: “Let’s find out?”.

Enter Shikari’s last studio album, ‘Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible’, came out back in April 2020.

In a four star review, NME said of the record: “Blending philosophy and science with the bloodied, bruised heart of someone who cares about their fellow man, ‘Nothing is True’ offers comfort, reason, familiarity and forward-thinking to give us the soundtrack we need for now.”

The band, meanwhile, joined forces with Wargasm on the song ‘The Void Stares Back’, in August 2022. The two bands performed the collaboration together during Enter Shikari’s sets at Reading & Leeds 2022.

Speaking about the song, Reynolds explained: “It is with elation, and more than a little nervousness, that we release this; our first track after over two years of dormancy. It is a roisterous journey made all the more so with the addition of our friends Wargasm.”

Speaking to NME backstage at Reading, Reynolds teased that the band’s next record “seems to be coming together as wall-to-wall bangers”.

It was a Super Bowl halftime performance that has gone down in history, but 50 Cent is back with accusations about Jay-Z. Fif took to the stage with Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Dr. Dre. It was one of the most widely praised performances in recent halftime history, and 50 chatted with Big Boy’s Neighborhood about possible tension with Hov and his team.

“I got the call before the [Pepsi] ad went up,” said Fif. “I wasn’t in the ad because of—Jay-Z and them was putting it together.”

“So, I think they still harbor some energy towards me,” 50 Cent added. Big Boy asked if the Power mogul truly believed he was purposefully excluded from the promotional ad.

“No. I think that they—they were saying that the NFL had some issues with me. I don’t know what those issues are,” Fif answered. “What is the issue? You see what I’m sayin’?” He also mentioned a conversation where he learned that Eminem wouldn’t perform with 50 Cent.

“That’s your big homie,” said Fif. He then remarked about Hov seemingly mirroring the looks of Jean-Michel Basquiat. “You image yourself after a gay painter. Big homie wanna look like a gay painter.”

Big Boy was a tad confused, but 50 Cent returned to his story about the halftime show.

“Em was looking at the entire legacy. The whole thing with Em, Dre, myself,” the rapper continued. Additionally, he stated that he was already in communication to perform at the Super Bowl, but the promotional ad was set in motion. Fif also said when he attempted to reach out to learn “what the complications” were, he didn’t receive a straight answer.

“I have to believe that was something from them,” he further said, alluding to there being an issue with Jay-Z. Big Boy also wanted to know if the two Rap icons discussed the confusion.

“We don’t need to talk about nothin’,” said 50 Cent.

This isn’t the first time Fif complained about Jay not wanting him at the Super Bowl. He first emerged with the accusation just two months after the outstanding performance.

Damar Hamlin had a horrific injury on Monday Night Football last week. As many of you remember, Hamlin suffered a cardiac event after being hit by Tee Higgins. Overall, it was a freak accident that ultimately led to life-saving measures on the field.

It was reported that Hamlin received nine minutes of CPR and AED. Typically, it is very hard to survive these kinds of medical emergencies, however, the medical professionals worked tirelessly to keep him alive. Eventually, Hamlin was sent to the UC Health Center where he was on a ventilator.

Throughout the week, Hamlin progressively got better. He started breathing on his own and it became clear that his neurological function was still intact. Additionally, Hamlin began talking to his teammates and supporting them through the Bills’ match against the Patriots.

Damar Hamlin Goes Home

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hamlin has been officially discharged from the hospital. This means he is officially allowed to go home to his family in Buffalo. However, it was noted that Hamlin will be headed to a local hospital as he still needs to do tests. While he is doing significantly better, he still needs to be monitored.

Meanwhile, Hamlin himself has commented on the news, saying “Watching the world come together around me on Sunday was truly an amazing feeling. The same love you all have shown me is the same love that I plan to put back into the world n more.”

No matter how you swing it, his recovery is amazing. There were many who thought he would pass away on the field. However, the medical professionals did their job every step of the way. We couldn’t be happier that he is doing so well right now, and we continue to hope for his recovery.

In the weeks since Big Scarr’s untimely passing, his friends, family, and fans have been in mourning. However, drama is now emerging after the late rapper’s friend called out Gucci Mane for allegedly failing to follow through on his promise to pay for his signee’s funeral.

The gossip came over the weekend after Quezz Ruthless began venting about the situation on Instagram Live. “You didn’t have to lie! You ain’t have to go ghost either, cuh. It was gonna get paid for either way. You could’ve just said you ain’t have the money. You don’t get no type of respect for that, cuh,” the XXL Freshman’s friend told the 1017 head during his stream.

Word of the accusations clearly got back to Gucci – or at least to his wife. In their defence, Keyshia Ka’oir posted a photo of a receipt to her Instagram Story. In the image, it shows that $10,000 went to a Memphis funeral home, seemingly for Big Scarr’s celebration of life.

Additionally, the Jamaica-born starlet says she and her husband sent flowers to the mourning family. In response, they didn’t receive so much as a thank you, according to her recent Instagram Story.

Of course, those receipts weren’t enough for Big Scarr’s family to quiet down. His sister, Alexandra Woods, has been actively speaking out on social media. “Baby, my brother worth more than $10K,” she assured her followers in a video.

“Yeah, Gucci sent $10,000 and somebody else had another $10,000. So it was $20,000 in all. We ain’t get the flowers. I don’t give a f*ck what nobody say. Like I said, Gucci ain’t help with shit,” she went on.

In another video, she seemingly comes for Ka’oir’s appearance. “F*ck them receipts that Annabelle uploaded,” Woods tells viewers. “F*ck Annabelle.”

At the same time, she made it clear that Big Scarr’s family has no intentions of returning his 1017 chains. In the aforementioned IG Live from the late artist’s friend, he also says Gucci Mane allegedly inquired about getting the jewelry back.

The Season Two premiere of BMF arrived last week, and the City Girls star was seen celebrating the next adventure of the series. The 31-year-old model recently discussed her dating life on her High Low with EmRata podcast. Ratajkowski admitted to attracting “the worst men.”
