Christian Nodal scores a new milestone achievement as his latest single, “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos,” earns the Mexican artist his first top 10 debut on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart without an accompanied act.

“Ya No Somos Ni Seremos” bows at No. 8 on the all-metric tally (dated March 5) mainly on the strength of streaming activity. The track generated 4.97 million U.S streams after its first tracking week ending in Feb. 27, according to MRC Data. The sum yields a No. 7 start on Latin Streaming Songs. (Hot Latin Songs blends airplay, streaming data, and digital sales.)

“Ya No Somos” secures Nodal his fifth top 10, out of 17 total chart appearances, dating back to the No. 4-peaking “Adios Amor” in February 2017. The former trails “Botella Tras Botella,” with Gera MX, his highest start thus far.

Here’s an updated roll call of Nodal’s top 10s on Hot Latin Songs:

Song Title, Artist (if other than Nodal), Peak Position, Peak Date
“Adios Amor,” No. 4, Feb. 25, 2017
“No Te Contaron Mal,” No. 10, Dec. 22, 2018
“Dime Como Quieres,” with Angela Aguilar,” No. 8, Dec. 5, 2020
“Botella Tras Botella,” with Gera MX, No. 3, May 8, 2021 (debut and peak)
“Ya No Somos Ni Seremos,” No. 8, March 5, 2022 (debut and peak)

“Ya No Somos” also registers 1,000 downloads sold in the same tracking period, enough to score a No. 4 debut on Latin Digital Song Sales.

Elsewhere, the single earns Nodal his highest debut on both Global charts, unaccompanied by any other act. On the Global 200 list, it arrives at No. 36, while on the Global Excl. U.S. ranking, it launches at No. 24.

The track is the first released via Nodal’s new label, Sony Music Latin, after signing a record deal in Feb. in tandem between the former and Sony Music Mexico. “Ya No Somos” was composed by him alongside Edgar Barrera.
