Britney Spears is officially having the “best day ever” after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge terminated the conservatorship that has controlled her personal and professional life for 13 years on Friday (Nov. 12).

Spears posted a video on Instagram taken from outside the courthouse on Friday, showing her fans being showered in confetti as they cheered the judge’s ruling. “Good God I love my fans so much it’s crazy!!!” Spears captioned the video, adding a crying-face and red-heart emoji. “I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day!!!! Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen.” She ended the caption with a brand-new hashtag: “#FreedBritney.”

Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, showed their support for the very vocal movement that has put a spotlight on her controversial conservatorship by wearing #FreeBritney T-shirts on Thursday, ahead of Friday’s hearing. Asghari posted a video of himself and Spears wearing the shirts, soundtracked by Britney’s 2013 hit “Work Bitch.” (Even their dog wore a #FreeBritney tee on his Instagram Story.)

Asghari also celebrated Friday’s ruling by immediately posting a graphic emblazoned with the word “FREEDOM” on Instagram. Asghari wrote in the caption: “History was made today. Britney is Free!” He ended the message with a single red heart emoji.

At a press conference outside the courthouse on Friday, Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart addressed a raucous crowd celebrating Judge Brenda Penny’s ruling.”This is a monumental day for Britney Spears,” the attorney said. “It’s also a somber day, for me, for Britney and I think for a lot of us who have been following conservatorships and how they operate.”
