Brandon Silverstein, music manager and founder/CEO of S10 Entertainment whose management clients include Normani and Anitta, is expanding his publishing partnership with Japanese music giant Avex.

After launching S10 Publishing in late 2020, Silverstein tells Billboard he has extended the division’s joint venture with Avex USA, the U.S. arm of Japanese music company Avex. Inc., with a multi-year deal.

Since launching, S10 Publishing signed chart-topping writer-producer Harv, who co-wrote Justin Bieber‘s hit “Peaches,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 and Streaming Songs charts following its release last March. Other signees include Cxdy (Lil Tecca, Juice WRLD), David Arkwright (Bella Poarch) and Marty Maro (Selena Gomez). In all, songs published by S10 have accumulated over 8 billion global streams, according to the company.

“Brandon and S10’s creativity and passion has led to extraordinary results in a short period of time,” says Naoki Osada, president of Avex USA. “We’re very excited to continue building with S10 and furthering the expansion of everything we can do together.”

Adds Silverstein: “Naoki and his team are incredible partners, and their support has been key as we seek to sign and develop some of today’s most exciting new writers.” He says it’s been particularly exciting to see Harv’s growth in such a short period of time and reveals that Harv is currently working on the next single for Normani.

Avex USA, which launched in Los Angeles less than a year ago, now includes Avex USA Publishing, music start-up investment program Future of Music Investment Fund and the record label SELENE. S10 is based in Los Angeles with offices in New York and offers management, publishing and label services.
