Teddy Santis is never not working. In addition to churning out successful collections under New Balance‘s “Made in USA” banner, the New Yorker continues to build Aimé Leon Dore‘s solo and collaborative rosters.

A week into spring, a never-before-seen New Balance 650 by ALD has made the rounds across social media. Currently considered only a sample, the pair features a predominantly white finish throughout the upper and sole unit. Hits of rich green, however, interrupt the uniform look at the tongue, and around the collar and lower heel. Midsoles forgo the yellow tinge of the inaugural Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 collection, but traction zones enjoy a gum finish. The design choice has been common amongst sneakers launched in the summer, but has led some netizens to compare Santis’ sample to the recent Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” drop. In any case, the white, green, and gum option helps expand New Balance’s compelling catalog.

Enjoy a closer look at the sample ahead, as you wait for official details.
