Like the rest of the world, Nike, too, has diverted its spotlight away from Travis Scott. And with their collaborative relationship effectively on hiatus, the brand, alone, is bringing out their own selection of Air Trainer 1 SPs. This pair, whose style code was originally thought to belong to La Flame, is especially daring, proffering a number of bold, somewhat utilitarian additions.

A diverse arrangement of warm tones, the colorway mixes in everything from pastel yellows to muted tans, all of which are applied atop a construction far more interesting than that of the original. The paneling, for starters, opts for many more layers: some built of smooth leathers, others of robust mesh and synthetic. Browns in many a shade are given to these fixtures, primarily, contrasting the industrial feel of the orange laces and the strap fastened to the vamp. Elsewhere, the aforementioned yellow dresses the midsole’s exterior, blue details through the instep, and grey finishes not only the lateral Swoosh but also the skeletal overlays displayed across the entire shoe.

In other news, a Stussy Nike Air Force 1 Mid is coming next year.
