ASCAP will recognize its top performing country songwriters and publishers during the ASCAP Country Music Awards, Nov. 8-10.

In its 59th year, the ASCAP Country Music Awards is returning to the performing rights organization’s social platforms for the second time in a row. The event will feature special performances, speeches from the winners and exclusive photos of the honorees.

The celebration is slated to take place on the PRO’s official InstagramFacebook, and Twitter using the hashtag #ASCAPAwards.

Last year, Ashley Gorley took the top award for songwriter of the year, while Warner Chappell Music won publisher of the year for the eighth time. Song of the year went to Old Dominion’s “One Man Band,” which was written by Josh Osborne, Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi.

ASCAP is slated to announce the 2021 winners on Nov. 8 through its website, ascap.com.
