Hugh Jackman Details Intense Training For “Deadpool 3” Appearance

Hugh Jackman says that he’s going to spend six months training to appear in Deadpool 3 as Wolverine. Jackman spoke about the upcoming film during a recent appearance on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?

“I’ve learned you can’t rush it. I’ve learned that it takes time,” he said about getting into shape for the role. “So we have six months from when I finish [The Music Man] to when I started filming. And I’m not doing any other work. I’m going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job for six months.”

He continued: “And I’m really fit right now. There’s one thing that about eight shows a week being on Broadway singing and dancing is I’m fit. So I’m healthy. I have a good place to start. And apologies chickens. Run a mile. Start running now because I’m coming for you.”

Jackman’s appearance in Deadpool 3 will mark his 10th time playing Wolverine. He debuted as the character in Bryan Singer’s 2000 film, X-Men. Most recently, he appeared in 2017’s Logan.

Ryan Reynolds first confirmed Jackman’s upcoming appearance in Deadpool 3, earlier this year. In a video posted on social media in September, Reynolds introduced the idea.

“Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?” Reynolds asked during the clip.

“Yeah, sure, Ryan,” Hugh replied.

In addition to Jackman joining the film, it will also be the first time Reynolds’ Deadpool will be integrated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Be on the lookout for Deadpool 3 when it hits theaters on November 8, 2024.

Steven Spielberg Says He Doesn’t View Seth Rogen’s Films As “Stoner Movies”

Steven Spielberg says that he doesn’t consider Seth Rogen’s films to be “stoner movies,” since he’s never been high before. Spielberg made the comment on the red carpet for the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

“Well, having never been stoned, I don’t see them as stoner movies,” he told Variety reporter Marc Malkin, before referencing Superbad. “I see them as movies about a police officer giving solid, sound advice to an impressionable person.”

Malkin then asked for Spielberg to do live commentary on Rogen’s films, to which Rogen said, “One day.”

Back in 2018, Rogen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he revealed that Spielberg isn’t a “big fan” of weed. Despite this, that didn’t stop Rogen from engaging in front of him.

“I just kept smoking it in Steven Spielberg’s face as I saw, like, the look on his face where he’s just like, ‘I’m never working with this motherfucker, ever,’” Rogen said at the time.

Rogen ended up going on to star in Spielberg’s newest film, The Fabelmans. For the movie, Rogen plays Bennie, a character heavily inspired by Spielberg’s uncle.

“[He’d be like] ‘My uncle did that all the time, do that, and let’s get another one,’ and it was like these new memories would form, and you’d capture them on film in real-time,” Rogen recalled. “Yeah, I’ll never have another experience like this.”

The Fabelmans hit theaters on November 11, 2022. The movie is based on Spielberg’s own adolescence and his introduction to the art of filmmaking. It also stars Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, and Gabriel LaBelle.

Peyton Hillis In Critical Condition After Rescuing Kids From Drowning

Former star running back Peyton Hillis is in critical condition after rescuing several members of his family from drowning. Hillis was reportedly hospitalized after helping save two children with another adult off the coast of Florida.

Peyton’s uncle, Greg Hillis, updated fans on his status on Facebook. He says that he’s “doing better” and that he’s “having some problems with his kidneys and his lungs but the doctors say he is improving.”

Greg wrote: “I just wanted to let everyone know on Razorback Nation that Peyton is doing better. He’s still in intensive care and having some problems with his kidneys and his lungs but doctors say he is improving. I just wanted to head off any rumors that may be started, I’m sure he would want everyone to know that he appreciates all of the prayers being thrown up on his behalf!!!”

TMZ obtained pictures from the incident on Friday, showing lifeguards and medical professionals assisting Hillis on the beach. A helicopter later arrived, airlifting Hillis to a hospital to receive treatment.

Peyton Hillis played for four teams during his NFL career, including the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and Kansas City Chiefs. He was in the league from 2008 to 2015.

He played his college ball for Arkansas, rushing for 960 total yards behind Darren McFadden.

Hillis also graced the cover of Madden 12 after a fan vote to determine the cover star.

Hillis has taken an interest in acting in recent years, making his debut in 2022’s The Hunting.

K Camp Reacts To Claims That He Fell Off

K Camp responded to criticism that he “fell off” while appearing on the Mr. Jay Hill Show, earlier this week. The Atlanta rapper explained that people use the phrase too loosely.

“I heard all that shit,” K Camp said firstly regarding the criticism. “Don’t no artist wanna hear that they fell off. But you got to understand, what’s the definition of falling off. N****s use that term so loosely. What is falling off? Falling off to me is fucked up somewhere under a bridge with no paper, with a box saying: ‘Can I get some food?’ That’s falling off.”

He continued: “When n****s speak in the aspect of falling off in music, like they don’t hear you on the radio, they don’t see you visually, it’s not falling off. Every player got an off-season … You got to go back to practice, you got to go out and get back in the gym and get your skill set up and come back out.”

In 2015, XXL included Camp in its Freshman Class. He released his latest project, Vibe Forever, back in July. He announced that it would be his final album with a major label. He’s taken issue with Interscope Records several times over the years.

In 2020, he complained about the lack of support the label was showing for his song, “Lottery.”

“Lottery should be the biggest song in the world right now,” he wrote at the time. “How many times we gotta keep putting up HITS to show y’all this shit real? We need answers @Joeyie!”

Check out K Camp’s appearance on Mr. Jay Hill Show below.
