My problem with education reparations is that it will only cover a certain small segement of the black community. What about if you already went to college, or do not have children, or are middle age or older? So that means that the majority of people who should benefit from reparations will not. The education pitch sounds like a cost saving measure. Plus, the US agave the Japanese cash reparations after WWII and they give cash to native americans or land as well ( even though they deserve so much more) so why is it all of a sudden not a realistic notion when it comes to black citizens after hundreds of years of mistreatment?
